I just had four sash windows restored and double glazed by OEW Co and I'm delighted with the results. They look great and the improved sound/thermal insulation is excellent.

Matt was really helpful from the start, advising what options I had, providing a nice clear quote and keeping me updated on timescales for fitting. Contracts and payments were handled very professionally by Judith. The fitters, Ashley and Peter, were punctual, tidy and courteous. I highly recommend OEW Co.

Would not hesitate to recommend Old English Window Company. For some time we had wondered what to do about our draughty old front door: loved the character, but it was so inefficient...
Solution: refurbished door with new quality glass, locks and door furniture.
Special thanks to Spencer who worked with us to achieve a bespoke design on the glass that we hadn't dreamt possible! Always incredibly professional and ensured we were 100% happy with the final result. Fabulous job, thank you 😊

I would highly recommend the Old English Window Company.

Matt, Stephen, Ashley and Peter provided a seamless professional service that has transformed the look of my property, in a way that compliments / accentuates the period features.

The team project managed every aspect of the installation, consulting as appropriate, and were very respectful of the property.

I had a vision of what I was hoping the renovation would look like, and Old English Windows surpassed my expectations.

The new windows have also made a big difference in terms of insulation and soundproofing. I really appreciated the workmanship and attention to detail.

I'm so glad that I found Old English Window Company. We were desperate to find a solution to restore our 1914 stained glass bay windows in a way that was respectful to the original craftsmanship, but gave us the sound, thermal and security benefits of double glazing. Matt is really an expert on this, and totally understood what we were after from our initial conversation. Professional, responsive, prompt, clean and really experienced, they made a very daunting project an absolute breeze from start to finish. Our fitters (Ash and Phil) were a pleasure to have around and their attention to detail was superb. We're really happy with the end result. It seems strange to make a big investment in something that essentially looks the same, but that was exactly the point! The frames are the exact replica of the originals, but it's SO much quieter and warmer. If you're struggling to find someone you trust with your period windows, I would recommend these guys without hesitation.

Excellent!

I am DELIGHTED with my new windows and door. From single paned, broken sash, cold windows to double glazed sash windows and warmth. What a difference! Where I had a badly fitting UPVC door, I now have a hardwood, double glazed door that matches the windows...and is hung the right way round!

Matt and his team were very professional. The installation team (Ash and Pete) had an eye for detail and tidiness that I wasn't quite anticipating. The end of each day, everywhere was so tidy and clean and the windows worked a dream. I am a very happy customer.

This is the second time we've used OEWC to restore/replace period windows in our Victorian property. The service we have received from Matt and his team of highly skilled craftsmen has been excellent from initial survey and advice to completion of the work in a timely manner.Our new windows remain a beautiful feature of an old house but are now water tight and warm , we couldn't be more pleased. Matt offers a very personal service and took time to really understand what we were trying to achieve. Would strongly recommend OEWC to anyone with a period property.

The Old English Window Company fitted double glazed sash windows into our Victorian terraced house in May 2019. (I've been meaning to write this review for a while..) The house had the original sashes which were, amongst other things, draughty and painted shut. Since having double glazing the house is warmer, quieter, safer and the windows look great. From the initial contact Matt, Saran and their team were professional, friendly, respectful and thorough. All of my questions and requests were answered, and they were always on time and tidy. Thanks again for your hard work!
