We got there just about lunch time - unknowingly before the lunch rush. We have been in England the whole week and the weather has been great. Blue skies and sunny as you can see in my pictures.

My wife and I split the Greek salad and the Chicken leek and potato pie. The food was amazing. The salad had mint and that was a nice little touch, along with the dressing and fresh tomatoes that made the whole combo delicious. The pie was also nice and hot and filled with great chunks of chicken and potatoes. The gravy was very savory and added to the whole pie experience. The hand cut chips (French fries) were very good too a shame they only had 50% reduced sugar ketchup. But the view was amazing and the food matched the view.

Second time visiting and I can’t get enough. Really cute, cozy, great service ( girls were so friendly and attentive) and absolutely amazing food. Lovely place with astounding views to Stanton, I need to go back and try more of what they have on the menu. Love the bbq pork and seabass, but the desserts, oh my god. The chocolate brownie!!! And the rhubarb crumble are to die for

The Mount is my favourite place to eat in the area, great menu and great food. Beautiful location with stunning views over Stanton to the west. Always a warm welcome in this lovely old Cotswold pub. Locally brewed Donnington beers complete the experience. Look forward to next time.

We fell in love with this pub the first time we visited, and second time we returned, we were recognised and treated like regulars. (Nowadays rare and) outstanding hospitality, thank you!
They grow their own vegetables: the food is fresh, seasonal and very well presented. Also, quite big portions.
They do get very busy, therefore, if you want to eat or sit inside, you must book in advance. Otherwise, there is plenty of seating outside to enjoy the beautiful views.

One of only 2 pubs in the town of Stanton. Elevated location (up a pretty steep hill) provides a nice view of the surrounding countryside. The people at the Inn were welcoming and warm, as was the atmosphere they helped to create. We had ciders and rested our feet while it showered outside.

One server for whole restaurant, she looked on verge of tears at one point. Hope she's okay. I guess other member of staff called in sick. Food was really good for price, big portions. Views were lovely outside looking over hills and pretty village.

A great place recommended by a friend, we had the best food and enjoyed a fantastic view there !
Food was absolutely delicious , if you’re looking for a traditional English pub experience I think it’s a great idea to try it.

Due to online reviews I was a bit worried we can’t get a table because they don’t read emails?
In fact we received an email back very soon and managed to get a table booked.

Thank you for the lovely lady and gentlemen who served us today and gave us a lot of help with our baby .

The only downside was they don’t have baby chair.

Amazing location, beautiful pub, lovely beer but no food for walkers! We stopped in on a long walk expecting to get some food but we were refused food and told we could only eat if we booked. Lots of tables outside but they weren't prepared to make us anything not even a bowl of chips. Could you even just have a plate of rolls on the bar for walkers to buy? We saw at least 4 other groups in the same boat 😕. Lovely pint and some crisps but not what I was hoping for.
