High Peak Recordings has everything our 5 piece band needs for rehearsals. There are 3 excellent practice rooms, small, medium and large, all well equipped and comfortable. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a vending machine for a sugary boost. There is storage available too. The owner, Bon is a nice guy and always on hand for anything you might need.
All in all, High Peak Recordings is a modern, clean and pleasant environment for bands to rehearse (and record, although that's not something we've done, so can't comment), and is much better than any other place we've used in the area. Very highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience recording my debut EP at High Peak Recordings. It could not have been easier or more comfortable to work with Bon; everything was set up before I arrived so after a quick discussion about what I was after we got straight to work and were able to record my entire EP (6 tracks) in one day. Bon was incredibly supportive and reassuring, and I had a great time. He also mixed and mastered the EP for me and made it all sound brilliant. I was kept very up to date during the process and Bon checked in at every major step to make sure everything sounded how I wanted it. I am so happy with my recordings, and I will definitely be back for future projects, thank you Bon!

High Peak Recording Studios is an excellent spot for both recording sessions and for band rehearsals.The studio has a great atmosphere is warm and welcoming, it's a great studio to lay down some tracks.

Great facilities and perfect for uninterrupted practice, and the acoustics are fantastic. Bon is friendly, knowledgeable, and on hand to help with any technical needs.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a professional, well-equipped studio that has a genuine community of musicians.

Great rehearsal venue - certainly the best I have been to for many years. Won’t be going elsewhere in the future for sure. Bon is very supportive & nothing is too much trouble. All 3 rooms have excellent equipment & are spotlessly clean - as is the kitchen & toilet. Would recommend to anyone. And the prices are also very fair.

I've been involved in three albums recorded, mixed and mastered by High Peak Recordings. Bon is always an incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful producer who knows how to get the very best out of his equipment, and his encouraging manner and the studio ambiance makes for a great space to get your songs down. Outside of recording, Bon has actively worked with the band to make sure he mixes our music so that it stays true to our vision whilst sounding great, and it is a real two-way collaboration. I will definitely be using High Peak Recordings again and again.

The 3 rooms are all really well kitted out and everything WORKS!! If you’ve experienced a certain international unmanned rehearsal studio company you’ll know what that means. Not only that but the rooms, toilet and kitchen are super clean. The prices are very fair and Bon is a super owner and always very responsive.

I have used this studio over the last 15 years when it was known as Great Image and owned by Alistair. It has always been my go to studio of choice because in that 15 year period it has always been by far away the best studio for miles around for lots of reasons, but especially because it was extremely well managed by someone who cared. When Bon (High Peak Recordings) took over a couple of months ago now I was a little bit anxious that it wasn't going to be as well run / managed as previously. I needn't have worried - it's as good as ever it was and all the signs are it is going to be even better than before. We met Bon a couple of times in the last few weeks and can only report a very positive change in ownership has taken place.

Great practice space for a great price. Very tidy and sounds great in the rooms. Bon is a very friendly chap and is really helpful when it comes setting stuff up if I don’t know what I’m doing!
