Excellent service from this company despite the difficulties of Covid. The plantation shutters are very high quality and were expertly fitted. Have transformed the house.
Post Covid we have now had shutters fitted in the bedrooms. Another very good experience from House of Shutters. If you want to fit the best use this company.

I spoke to a few companies and I was most impressed with the House of Shutters, they were the most thorough, offered the best service and price and were local. The fitting of my shutters was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend.

Ordered Shutters for the windows in my Cottage which I was a little worried about as the cottage is over 300 years old and every window has a different size. However the technician who came to measure up assured me they were used to handling a wide range of window sizes and not to worry, everything would be just fine. Come the day of fitting it was exactly that, all shutters were fitted successfully within the day and I'm super impressed not only with the quality of the shutters and the work but also the care and attention House of Shutters put in to the project. Can highly recommend them

I wholeheartedly recommend Dean and his team at The House of Shutters. Having initially worked with them in May 2014, I got in touch with them again in May 2018 to obtain a quotation for further, matching shutters in another room. They were able to instantly find my previous order, and come up from Sussex to inner London to measure up and advise on a date of my choosing. We found their service to be wonderful from start-to-finish, with a really genuine personal touch.The work was completed to an excellent standard, and they were very flexible with fitting dates. The team at HOS are amazing. They fitted our shutters ten years ago and were professional, considerate and expert. The whole experience was spot on from sales, through fitting and then dealing with some post-fitting issues quickly and expertly. We have just replaced our windows and HOS came and took the shutters down, expertly restored by Lee to look as good as new. Whilst taking them down it became evident they couldn’t go straight back up without considerable modification and Dean and the team worked out how to do that and got them back within weeks - they fitted perfectly and Kelly & Rob did an amazing job fitting them without fuss and ahead of expected timeframes. This was in complete contrast to the window company who promised solutions then failed to deliver ultimately walking off the job. Thankfully HOS sorted out things way beyond their brief without batting an eyelid. All of this was with the backdrop of my wife scheduled to undergo major surgery needing the windows and shutters up and working for when she returns home to recuperate. It has been a terribly stressful process but HOS have been amazing in helping relieve that stress caused by others and I know they went above and beyond knowing our situation and for that I am truly thankful. The humanity demonstrated was huge and we will always remember their kindness during this terribly upsetting time.

Thank you to Dean and the team for an excellent job.
They supplied sets of plantation shutters which we are thrilled with.
We took the time to find a UK based manufacturer and having them made locally has meant that they have been able to be properly adjusted to fit.
Proper advice on angles and sizes to fit windows and bays that are not entirely straight (Victorian house, on a hill in Ealing).
Also great consideration to how the lines appeared from outside to match up with the shapes of our sashes.
DO NOT just buy the cheapest Chinese imports (which is basically the rest of the market) as you will not get the same outcome. (That said the small bathroom shutters were imported but they were specially treated to withstand moisture).
Massively recommend.

House of Shutters seemed like the perfect partner. Their pricing was keen, product of good quality and a business local to us.
We weren't disappointed. Brilliant service even though covid did force a delay beyond anyone's control.
The shutter look great, the install was completed efficiently and snags resolved in a timely manner.
