Virgin Experience Days - Bourne End

Booked a car driving experience for my dad for Christmas. He's come to book it and there's additional charges virgin did not warn us of when buying the experience. We were warned of a damage waiver charge, but not a random additional surcharge for booking. When I contacted virgin, they just said talk to the supplier. Absolutely disgusted with virgin and their customer service.

My sister gave me this adventure as a present so I took an elderly gentleman to brighten up his life. We had a thoroughly brilliant day and we acted like 2 naughty schoolboys. The ferry ride was fun as was the steam train to Corfe Castle. My friend loved our day out and so did I and we have decided to go again next summer.

Absolutely wonderful day out. The Bluebell Railway is fabulous and the work they have done there is amazing. The Wakehurst Gardens were truly beautiful with magnificent trees and something beautiful wherever you look. The flowers in the walled garden were a riot of colour. Excellent.

Fantastic and Informative Morgan Motor Manufacturing Experience:
Give yourself plenty of time to be transported back in time and enjoy a great day out at the Morgan Motor Company's factory. Led by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, you are taken through the various stages of manufacture of the classic Morgan car range. Watch the highly skilled craftsmen form and build the car from the ground up as you listen to the guide's informative explanation. Spend time in the museum before enjoying a treat or a great afternoon tea in the Morgan café. Head to the showroom and buy your car!!

Brilliant afternoon spent driving four different armoured vehicles. Accompanying visitors get to ride on and in some too which really makes a difference to the experience when friends/family go along (costs £10 per head for that but worth it). Teas coffees cakes and biscuits all laid on and the staff and instructors are really nice folk. Don't expect luxury but do expect an excellent experience; definitely recommended!

The Alnwick Gardens - Couples Day Experience with Lunch:

Price-included: parking, tours and lunch. Staff were great: we were VIPs. Wow: all the plants, Cascade tour, in the Cherry orchard sitting on a bench swing, Poison Garden (many common trees and plants are scary: Laurel - why women not men should cut them, all of the Yew tree is poisonous and plants dangerous to even touch... Lunch in the TreeHouse restaurant was an outstanding three course meal. There was a good selection and the food was the best we have eaten in a long time. Will go again!!!!

Fantastic day at Blyton park, drove Aston Martin DB 5 and V8 Vantage, lots of opportunity to drive other cars on the day as well as additional laps. Very well organised, very knowledgeable instructors, whole team were friendly and helpful

I've had two vouchers as gifts, neither was fun. First gift, the hotel decided they no longer accepted the vouchers, even though there was 6 months till it expired. The website wouldn't let me rebook elsewhere and it was impossible to get hold of Virgin to sort it out, so it just got wasted.

2nd voucher for Caffè Concerto took a dozen attempts to book, the phone number was wrong, the email inbox was full and not accepting emails, they didn't pick up, finally got through only to find the info on Virgin's website was wrong and you can't book at weekends. Finally found a branch to book at but it's so much trouble I hope noone buys me these vouchers again.
