We love going for walks around the abbey and through the surrounding woods. There are plenty of picnic benches around the abbey and a café if you want a hot drink. The woods are lovely with lots of different paths to take. Slightly hilly terrain in the woods but makes for a nice varied walk with some great views through the trees. Perfect for families, people with dogs, joggers, and anyone after a bit of fresh air. You quickly feel like you’re no longer in the city!

I absolutely love this park! It's just a few minutes from my place, and I go for a daily jog. The atmosphere here is calm, serene and full of nature and life. Whether it's a fresh morning, sunny afternoon or golden evenings, you can always feel the cool breeze. Deep in the woods you'll hear the birds chirping and squirrels rushing around. It's a perfect spot for walking pets, and it's friendly for kids, elderly and special needs people. Having such a spot nearby is truly a blessing ! ?

Always great to see the abbey ruins and the great café after walking around the woods looking at the chalk pit, wood carving and the shark teeth pit as well as the farmers market every second Sunday.

This abbey is right next to a lovely woodland which you can walk around for a good few hours. For this place being in London it is such a treat. There's toilets near the abbey ruins and a window selling snacks which is good.

What a wonderful space hidden away in a not so wonderful space, getting better though and investing more into places like this is the right way to go about it.
