I am giving Meaco four stars. I bought an arete 25L which worked great for 18 months. It then suddenly broke with no warning - it had the display issue many others have posted about on here (pictured) and would not turn on or operate. I contacted Meaco and to be fair to them they were good; they sent out a replacement box as I had binned mine, then my unit was collected once packed. Within a couple of days they confirmed that they could not repair the unit, but they sent me a brand new one as I'm still in warranty. I am only marking down 1 star as I would have hoped the product would have been more reliable originally and I wouldn't have needed to have used the warranty, - hoping the new one is more reliable as it is great when works

Poor product and customer service, serious design flaw with weight bearing joint. Known problem confirmed by Teresa at meaco, base unit fell off due to weak plastic on the Model 1060p (pedestal) when picking it up at the handle which is designed to be picked up and moved. For something that is used 2 months a year, fails outside of warranty and when not in use stored in the box in came in to keep it safe, no goodwill apart from a small discount to buy another unit to have the same problem. This is in fact my second unit, my first unit lasted less than a week and was returned under warranty. Better products out there which is cheaper, even the more expensive ones are designed better. Stay away from meaco. If could up load my pictures on here I would as extra proof.

It's been almost 2 months... Dehumidifier we got in October 2023 started having issues with the control panel 2 months, does not operate correctly and was intermittent in not turning on or off, function buttons stopped working and now it's dead... does nothing at all.
When contacting customer services via email we were promised a replacement after filling a form. Form sent and nothing back from Meaco
Emails auto returned everytime and when calling the number on their website, was told line is closed.
Inexistent customer support and void warranty it seems.
We purchased this dehumidifier following our neighbours tip, our neighbour is having the same problem and it feels like wasted money in the end, we are left with a faulty device having to go thru other channels eventually. Shame..

Avoid like the plague! Wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing an extensive unit that has now been replaced twice in the space of 1 year and a half. I seem to have the same fault as experienced by others.

The customer service is absolutely shocking. I got told ‘we don’t want customers like you’ after raising a complaint. Shoddy product and company set up.

I bought one of their most expensive dehumidifiers and air purifiers on Amazon new. It broke after few months. I contacted them multiple times to fix the device which was registered with their extended warranty. After hours of being wasted on the phone with them and emails they are now saying that they seem warranty invalid because I bought it on Amazon from bot recognized seller. I contacted the seller and they say they are authorized. What a horrid company and what I see a lot of people have similar issues with them.

One of the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I have the Meaco 12L AreteOne dehumidifier which worked well for a few months before it just died.

As with other reviews, I have been trying to get it sent back to be repaired or replaced but have not had a response to my numerous calls and emails since 12th July, despite sending over all the details they asked for including proof of purchase.

Clearly their customer service team is super busy because their products are not reliable! I will not be buying any future Meaco products!

Initially purchased a de-humidifier on Amazon. Its pretty good so far. However, it didnt come with wheels. Had to purchase them seperately on the Meaco website. Able to register for warranty pretty easily too.

My meaco dehumidifier packed up whilst still under warranty. I contacted meaco and true to their word the customer services rang back next day. They organised packaging and shipping for repair. They emailed to say it was not repairable and sent me a brand new replacement, all within a week. I can't praise their customer care enough, brilliant. The unit prior to failing the unit worked great. I would definitely recommend their products and customer service. Phil Archer
