We were visiting the Jurassic coast for a weekend and our Airbnb host recommended this shop. Wow. What a delightful little spot. Such a great assortment of local products from produce to dairy to bread to soap and so much more. Everything we bought here was absolutely delicious and great quality. The owners were so friendly and hospitable. They let my kids check out their calves in the barn behind the store. We were in love with the whole place. We found ourselves stopping in each day during our stay to try something new and say hello to our new friends- human and animal, ha. Great local products accompanied with friendly staff that make you feel like you’re part of their community? Yes please. If you’re in the area, you should stop by!

Amazing find when I was working in West Dorset as a private chef.

First of all - the produce and produce range is stunning and it’s local - always a bonus and showcases some of the great local suppliers. Honestly - the best Dorset apple cake I’ve ever had and the client liked it so much he got me to buy another 5!

Also - the owners - Lucinda and Tim were just so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The Farm Shop is actually on a farm (sometimes not the case) it’s a little bit off the beaten track (between Litton Cheney and Burton in Bradstock) but you’ll be so happy that you made the journey.

We found this farm shop whilst on a walking holiday in Dorset and wasn't disappointed ? we came away with some beautiful flowers, some delicious cheeses and ham and a yummy smoked trout pate. We were lucky enough to time our visit with the bread delivery so had some fresh sourdough too. The owner was very welcoming and helpful (and gave our dog some free treats!)

Visiting the Jurassic Coast, we wanted to pack a farm shop picnic to take on a hike from Lulworth Cove. After a quick Google search we came across Modbury Farm Shop and decided to give it a go. So glad we stopped by! We got some lovely Dorset cheeses, ham, bread rolls and salami at good value considering the locality and quality. The couple running the place are lovely and the shop is on a working farm so we got to say hello to some chickens on the way back to the car. Highly recommend!
