Excellent hidden gem of a cheese shop. Very helpful and friend selling a selection of local and uk wide cheeses. Will offer a sample if required to help select the right cheese. Other items also available. Would recommend.

visited August 2019 located in the small village/town of burford this little shop sells a large selection of cheese to local and not so local people, visitors of all nationalities were clearly present. a strong aroma of cheese welcomed you as you entered the shop would recommend a visit just a short walk from pay and display car park

Visited Burford on 21 September and went into this well stocked shop. An amazing selection of cheeses plus various accompaniments and interesting delicious items. All displayed well and very tempting. As a visitor I would have liked to have seen, if possible, more Cotswolds produced items as everything that I purchased came from outside the County. Having said that, the Lincolnshire Plumb Bread is delicious. There was however a good selection of Cotswolds local cheeses. I would recomend this lovely shop and the helpfull assistant and will return next time that I'm in the area..

We had the most magical time choosing the cheese wheels for our wedding cake. Jackie made us feel so special and we couldn’t have asked for a more fun experience with her. She had so much knowledge and we’ve ended up with the most amazing cheese and chutneys for our big day. We are so pleased we have chosen to have a non-traditional wedding cake. It has worked out so much cheaper than a cake and feels way more personalised and unique. Thanks again, Jackie! We had the best afternoon. We cannot wait for our wedding day and to show off the cake to our guests x

I visited the shop on Thursday afternoon with my partner with the intention of buying some special cheese whilst on holiday. The assistant ignored us and another group whilst they continued a phone call, no acknowledgement of our existence was made. Therefore we left the shop and went to the co op opposite to buy cheese.
