A wonderful garden center with a variety of goods on offer that go well beyond plants! You'll find clothing, fantastic food of all kinds, furniture, and bits and pieces of all kinds to liven up your home and garden - or just your day. I visited the cafe restaurant with friends and really enjoyed the food on offer. For the price, I thought the volume was just about right, and the coffee and (very good cake) made for a perfect end to the meal. There was a blackboard with a variety of options. When browsing the shop I particularly liked the different sections that focused on different goods. Old cars, motorbikes, and other oddities around which goods were displayed also made slowly wandering the aisles interesting. Loos were generally clean, although not clearly signposted as far as I could tell. Service was friendly, but beware, payment appeared to be by card/ digital payment only - cash was not an option. If staying for a meal, you may want to plan for a few hours here, especially if you like to slowly amble, rather than rush around. The variety of food on offer on site (deli, as well as restaurant) was good. Happy to visit again!

It was a lovely afternoon at the Burford Garden Centre. It's a delight to step in and look around.....just browsing through various sections was pure bliss. One can't help picking up some choice pieces and some plants flowers with beautiful pots.....so much variety under one roof.
Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Very well presented garden centre. The book shop was beautifully curated, the garden centre was playful, we discovered a hidden seating area outside behind some beautiful maples. Everything very tasteful but I will say expensive. We still bought half the shop though.

This is an amazing garden center near Oxford, the place is like an Aladdin's cave, the different food choices and drinks is just unreal. Such different things and the gelato ice-cream stand is a must visit, you have to visit it to believe it.

This place is lovely place to browse and have a coffee. It offers an inspiring range of luxury goods and a whole host of plant species that I haven't seen elsewhere. My companion described it as her 'happy place' and I could see why. There is a nice bookshop, clothes, Japanese garden tools, foods, independent alcohol and so much more. My only criticism is that some of the basic prices get a bit silly, for example a mini plug houseplant for £4.99 is a tad greedy. However, I would certainly go there to find myself an unusual new plant or perhaps to do some gift shopping. We enjoyed a drink in the cafe, which reminded me of the famous Beignet place in New Orleans with big fans sweeping overhead. Very nice indeed. Plenty of aspirational ideas to be had.

Very good garden centre. Not cheap, mind you. I'm from the midlands/north and we were literally gasping at the prices of things. Very expensive jam and the likes. Olive oil is quite reasonable though.

I love the experience of Burford and its restaurant and bookshop is second to none. If the plant pricing was ever so slightly cheaper I think people would be inclined to spend more. However it’s a beautifully curated garden centre and wonderful place to visit, whether you are shopping or not
