Great B&B. We stayed here for two nights for a wedding nearby. We were late to check in but Scott had waited around and was really nice on arrival. The room/en-suite is spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. The breakfast next morning is high quality with the lovely Sophie on hand the next morning.

A lovely atmosphere and great food. Nice to have the log burner glowing away. Well worth a visit and off the main street so good for parking.

Great pub with rooms and an excellent restaurant. Full of character, nice roomy beer garden out back. The room I had was a generous size and comfortable. The food was good quality and clearly popular as it was quite busy on a Monday night. Decent cask beers on as well. Easy to find on street parking nearby.

Not welcoming. My husband and I have enjoyed visiting The Angel for 7+ years and more frequently since we moved to the area 4 years ago. The warm welcome that made the place so special has gone and the front of house staff greet you with rules and reasons to leave. To be avoided if you fancy an impromptu refreshment.

Visited with family for lunch, had the burgers and they were really good. The children's burger was a bit plain but I understand that's how many kids like it but not mine and she ended up eating most of my burger while I had to eat hers. Service was great and very welcoming.

We sat in the garden which was lovely and can imagine it would a fantastic place for evening drinks.

We stayed for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. Breakfast was delightful, and a great choice of options with cheery service on the second morning although service was a bit grumpy on the first morning. The room was clean, with appreciated touches like complimentary bottled water. Burford itself is stunning, and the free parking was a plus. A few minor issues: the headboard was loose and banged every time we moved, so my partner had to hold it steady with his pillow to sleep. Additionally, the hot tap faucet was loose, the mirrors were a bit smeary, and the pillows and mattress were a bit firm for our liking. With a few tweaks, it would have been perfect. Overall a positive experience.

Visited this pub last Sunday as it had a sign outside that read “Beautiful Garden”! Popped in and yes garden at the rear is beautiful and great for a Sunday lunch setting. What I really liked initially was the pleasant greeting, the organisation of the operation was excellent and the Sunday Roast Beef was worth every penny. Best to book a table so as not to be disappointed having to wait, but the food and service is worth the wait. Well done guys.

Fish and chips to die for! The fried sesame broccoli was unbelievable, a must try!
The staff went above and beyond to cater to us, making a non-alcoholic batter which was really appreciated. Located in a cute little town with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. A special thank you to Jessica for her lovely service and for being so wonderful.
