Dave and his brother from A1 Gates have done an excellent job at not only fitting my new gate plus side fence panel piece but have offered excellent advice and suggestions from the very start of dealing with them. They were even able to accommodate in the production of the gate a small lower access point for the cat to use.
Very personable to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Dave also sent me photos of the gate as it took shape during production.
I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We finally got round to having gates back on the house after widening the driveway. From the moment Dave came to the house to measure up and provide us with a quote I knew straight away that he was the man for the job. He advised one large gate automated with 8ft railings either side on the wall. They were fitted last week but they look like they belong there already. The colour we went for was satin anthracite grey and they look absolutely stunning! As soon as they were fitted our neighbour said that they looked the business! I mentioned that we were totally thrilled with them, he replied “so you should be!
Everything fitted in a day of solid work.
Thank you guys again for a truly magnificent job. I would highly recommend to anyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had wrought iron gates and railings fitted by A1 a few years ago. Excellent quality and great workmanship at a fair price. I had some extra work done today and, again, the work was spot on and of high standard. Very fair price again. Happy to recommend this reputable company.

I booked some driveway gates and posts to be fitted with A1Gates.
The job was booked at the beginning of June 2017 and I was told that the job would be complete and fitted in 4 - 5 weeks.
After 4 weeks I had heard nothing from A1 Gates and contacted them again and was told that they would be starting my job in the next week and they would contact me to let me know exactly when. Again I had no contact at all.
I am now 2 and a half months down the line, there is no work that has been completed by A1 Gates despite numerous phone calls by myself chasing them up.
I have today received a text message from A1 Gates (the only contact they have made) telling me they can no longer do the job.
I am now left in the position I was 2 and a half months ago looking for a new company to do the work.
If you want a reliable company with good communication skills to make and fit some Gates at your house don't bother with A1 Gates!
