great place .i love the shape of the place .love watching the cruise ships coming and going

I worked here for around 12 months on and off loading and discharging cars. It was ok, the shifts were 12 hours long, it was very busy. Interesting working with lots of different cars, and huge ships.

Most of the other drivers were decent, bar one strange man who made up stories about owning lots of different properties and a Ferrari, yet was only ever seen driving rusty old cars! The gentleman was lazy, disruptive, and had a habit of interfering with other people's things. He talks outrageous amounts of BS, there must be some previous trauma still affecting him or something.

The ABP lot were great, including the management, and the rest areas and toilets were kept in good condition. Safety comes first, and we were constantly reminded of this. Parking was also good.

This place is very well organised for such high foot flow. The car parking is efficient and the check in a lot less hassle than the airport!

So disappointing to arrive at a shed pretending to be an airport lounge with no windows or viewing platform to see off our friends on their transatlantic voyage on the Queen Mary .... where was an architect when this building was conceived? Outside?no viewing ..pedestrians prohibited, cheap fencing and barbed wire ..(As you can see from the photo)

Don’t advise taking your car into centre of Southampton very confusing 1 way system and buss lanes, cost me a fine of 35 pounds and later found on FB that several others on our cruise had the same problems

As we were down the docks looking at the cruise ships
We have noticed that the past 3 months the docks and parking areas are looking fantastic.
Nice to see you have a company (Acorn builders) in taking care of the landscaping
Very polite workman and helpful with directions when needed.
Fantastic work keep it up
Will definitely be visiting again!

Took a trip on the SS Shieldhall. ABP staff were polite and helpful. Was directed to the Shieldhall car park where we found plenty of spaces. Only criticism was that they didn't provide designated disabled bays which made getting in and out of the car difficult.
