We had several new windows and patio door fitted. We also had some old windows replaced. Honestly, the quality is far from satisfactory. Some windows are hard to open, they have been readjusted since and still not open/close smooth. The large patio doors are drafty, this is a bother during cold winter months. They came out and "fixed" it , still drafty. Last year we had a window replaced by a different company (I won't name them , but the job they did was spot on). I asked them to check our patio door fitted by Acorn glassline, I was told that the rubber seal/gasket was cut too short as they shrank, they should have been cut longer to allow shrinkage which we had noticed the gaps.i called them earlier this year, they said they would get back but never did. I consider myself as a skillful and knowledgeable person with great engineering skills, and therefore the review I leave is based on my knowledge, experience and facts.

January 2025, Isn't it rather interesting that when the company tells you they would get back to you but they don't, and when you leave a negative feedback they are suddenly eager to get in touch and rectify the fault?! I was ignored when I called them, and the owner decided to respond after I had left a negative feedback.

I have been using Acorn for years as a builder. I have always found them reasonable and honest. The quality of windows and doors excellent. I can't say that everything is perfect but 95 percent of the time I have had no serious issues. Like us you can't always get it right but we will do whatever is necessary to resolve any problems if occurred. I have windows installed and made by these guys in extensions built over 25 years ago

I have had more than 25 years of association with Acorn. They have supplied all my customers with full window replacements, conservatories, orange rides and we have never received a complaint.
Acorn always attended sites when they said they would and have followed up any calls promptly to deal with any queries.
We have had all our own windows and doors supplied by Acorn. A stone thrown from a lawn mower smashed through a large double glazed unit and after a frantic call they made and delivered a replacement unit within 2 hours

From initial meeting , they went above and beyond to install a large conservatory to my home , and I could not be happier .
