Great place, but I didn't enter inside the factory

The bloke in security had no patience and wasn't very helpful but the chaps that did the loading were spot on. Having never been there before I didn't realize that you need to park opposite and book in using the computerized console, eventually the security guard found the motivation to grunt an explanation. There's a burger bar and toilets in the lorry waiting area which makes life a little happier.

Nothing is too much trouble here.

If you are tipping seed, then you can queue on the LEFT of the ramp, just mind the scaffolding on the left.

If you are loading meal, then you can go straight up the RIGHT of the ramp, and round to the (road tanker) parking area. The doorways are JUST 4metres high.
Once you are loaded, there are gantries either side so you can level your load - failure to do so could cost £200.00, but someone has nicked the rakes!

The general traffic management on site could be be a little better.
However it seems that you can still park across the road overnight.

Great place, when I'm there every couple months every time it looks and feels different from modern boring factories with as little distractions or challenges as possible to make your visit almost like previous ones so you don't know if it's 10th or 50th time you're here. Not here. It looks like half abandoned factory from industrial revolution that over half a century ago received major update and small improvements in last decade. Especially at the evening feels like a set of horror film.

Usually no problems loading. But other times bulk topper drivers block tanker lanes. Third party vehicles like fridges & curtainsiders are using the hard standing for overnight parking. Why aren't they moved. Rob.

Erith is just Erith. 75% of the time it's fine. But when it goes wrong it really does go wrong for tipping and loading.
