Communication is terrible. Last year, we had trouble contacting them while they processed our cow. This year, my husband told her I was coming Thursday afternoon. I just drove 40 minutes to Washington with two young children for no one to be there during their listed hours. Tried calling. Knocked on all doors, nothing. Today was my day off, and now I have to make the hour and a half round trip again. And today wS my day off to get there.

Unfortunately… I have to say I was very disappointed. I was new to ordering cuts of a cow, but have ordered cuts of our deer before (elsewhere), so I’m somewhat familiar with the basics of ordering cuts. The lady who answered the phone did so in a fairly aggressive way that made my call feel unwanted. I was ready to let that go though, as I understand people can get overwhelmed when busy. Well, the call continued, and it’s not often that I feel patronized by a women, but this happened here as I tried to understand my options for cuts without any sheet to refer to. I tried to look past it, but I had to call 3 times, the last time being because I hadn’t heard from them for 2 weeks once my order was placed, was never given an estimate, and so on. I’m someone who highly values treating customers with respect, and that didn’t seem of much importance here. Lastly, I made it very clear that I was trying to make things as simple as possible to split cuts up between my party, and amongst the other angst they gave me for that… there are no weights or cut numbers written on anything but, literally, maybe 2 items. The final sheet has a few of the portions of what we requested… that’s about it. I wouldn’t recommend, based on the service, but the pricing doesn’t seem too bad. I can’t compare it to anything though because I wasn’t provided any pricing and they don’t have a sheet to provide it to you either.

Saw ad in this years yellow pages for deer processing. When I got there they said they do not do deer processing, and that maybe during the rifle season they would do deer. Why bother putting that in you’re ad? Wasted a lot of time.
