Crochet Workshop Part 2 - Learning Granny squares - excellent workshop with like minded people, learn at your pace but still as part of the group, excellent tutor. Happy to say I can now granny square without tuition. Thank you

I’ve just spent the morning at the “Get To Know Your Sewing Machine” workshop at Albrights. I used to sew, using a heavy machine (can no longer lift it easily) and needed to learn about a newer, lighter model. I learned lots of new information, tips, and have access to a pdf now, to jog my memory! A most enjoyable morning. I expected to be overwhelmed and unable to grasp things but Lucinda was very clear, made everything easy to understand, and was very patient. Thank you. I feel ‘raring to go’ with the sewing now!

I really enjoyed this course and left feeling much more confident that I can make friends with my overlocker! Excellent tutor who tailored the morning to our individual needs and abilities. It was a bit chilly, so wrap up warm!

This was my second crochet workshop at Albrights in Diss. I love going there, the staff are friendly, it’s super local for me and I progress each time.
The only drawback this time was that it was freezing in our work area (despite two electric heaters). I appreciate that it’s a really ancient building and keeping it warm is tricky!
Also a printed handout of the stitches/designs we covered would be helpful to take away (it’s quite hard to remember everything you learned when you get home)
Those are minor issues though and I would recommend these course to anyone interested in crochet.

Loved this workshop on how to make a tote bag. I learnt something new under the wonderful guidance of Lucinda and was able to produce a very useful tote bag! You bring your own machine but all other materials are provided. I even know about iron on interfacing now! Really pleased with what I made, even husband was impressed! Thanks again I will be back!
