In early 2018 I was looking for a metal works artisan/fabricator to carry out the design, fabrication and installation of a three-storey stair case at my property. I approached various manufacturers but it was by chance that one of those suppliers recommended Florin at ALF based on my requirements. I was not disappointed. From the beginning my dealings with Florin were professional and polite. He took the time to visit site and spent, in total a full day with my wife and I to discuss our needs and determine the most suitable design that would comply with building regulations but also give us something unique, a 'wow factor'. Fast forward a couple of weeks and Florin had produced a fully finished product complete to powder coated stage and was ready to install. The price was also very reasonable, but at the same time, I must say you pay for the quality, which is clearly at a high standard in Florin's work. Florin and his team installed without issue, and with any potential challenges they came up against he was able to propose options to help us overcome. I was so impressed with his attitude, quality of work and general professionalism, I appointed him again to do more work on a Juliet balcony AND another internal mezzanine balustrade. My wife and I have now decided to ask Florin to design some furniture made out of metal based on designs we have seen. I would highly recommend working with Florin and his team. They are polite, professional, carry out work to a very high standard and just generally very nice guys.

Florin and his team are exceptionally gifted metal craftsmen. We undertook a relatively large self build locally that needed quite a lot of metal work - 3 staircases, 3 mezzanines, and external safety balustrades. Florin has an exceptional eye for detail and works collaboratively with you to come up with the best solution. Can't recommend them enough. If you are considering using A.L.F then Florin is very welcome to arrange to show you the quality of the metalwork on the staircases up at our home (we are only 10 mins from his workshop on the vale).
