Just my personal experience been ordering for nearly a year now, regularly getting my dogs urinary S/O dog food alot cheaper than elsewhere. Packing is always presentable and sturdy, postage cost are good. This far I can not complain.

I have used Animed intermittently for years and have always found them excellent, so I was rather surprised at the many negative reviews. I queried this and it was a combination of factors - a new system (we all know that that always causes chaos), and changes to prescribing medication dictated by DEFRA and the veterinary governing body. This all landed at the same time, so havoc was inevitable. Don't give up on them.

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering with this company!! Placed order on Sunday 23rd Jan received email on Tuesday stating there was an issues with my prescription and they would email me within 24hrs to let me know the problem, would this not be easier to put the the issue in the email they sent stating the problem instead of waiting an other 24hrs!! Had to resend same prescription over to them then had to go back through approval off their vets which could take another 48hrs!! Spoke to them they said hopefully prescription would be approved in time for it to be posted on Friday ( not promising) if not they would not post out untill Monday as they only post items on working days not Saturday or Sundays. Advice off the company was to go to my vets get tablets off them to tide me over!! So not only have I paid for a prescription off my vets and paid Animed for the tablets I now need to go and pay for tablets off my to tide me over untill they arrive, wasn't this the whole point of not getting tablets off my vets and using this company!! Valuable lesson learnt use my vets from now on.Shocking service would never use this company again

I only order off them as they have my prescription from the vets. Terrible service. I will be going else where in future. nowhere to hide after 7 days. Have to wait until later for feedback as phone lines closed 3-4pm Thursdays for training. I'd have thought that if the vets email the prescription through it would take minuets to check not days.
Took them 14 days before cancelling my order. I had to go to the vets and buy the tablets off them at nearly 3 times the price. I don't know why they cancelled my order. So they now have a prescription but I'd never trust them again

After having ordered from Animed previously, without issue, I placed an order on the 3rd Feb (a large one at that, amounting to £227). Unfortunately, as at the 12th Feb I still haven't received my order, nor have I received any communication from Animed. After waiting quite some time to get through on the phone I eventually spoke to an assistant who took a message and called me back. It was confirmed that my order still had not been processed as there was a query on their side, but they hadn't bothered to contact me to tell me this. After speaking to the assistant I then received an email advising me to contact them?!? I have since cancelled the order (for which my refund will take at least 3 days, if not more) and ordered elsewhere (& that order will arrive by Saturday of this week!). I will not be placing orders via Animed again.

First time ordering from Animed. I put my order in on the 12th December and my vets assured me they sent the prescription the following day. After continued chasing via email and phone they tell me today they didn’t receive the order until 16th, unlikely but that isn’t even the worst part. I explained my cat is now completely out of his medication and they assured me they would mark as urgent and get it out today for express delivery. They assured me that they would send me a confirmation email and an email for tracking by 10am. Well it’s gone 4pm, definitely no emails and I have given up trying to get through on the phone. Pretty poor customer service and dishonesty.

Avoid using. You can't get through on the phone, they don't respond to any of your emails. When I finally did get through on the phone after many days repeatedly trying, they took my order, took payment for it but still haven't processed the order, let alone arrange delivery. I have been waiting 5 days for them to process the order. My dog needs this pain medication and is now without thanks to Animed.

I ordered Epiphen 60mg for my elderly dog who suffers seizures. Bought prescription vet as this is a controlled drug and send it to Animed. Set up a payment plan PayPal. Animed cancelled the order but took the entire payment of nearly £44 without any shame. The communication via email is very unclear and confusing. Even my vet, I showed her the correspondence from this company, agrees and will not recommend this company .
I opened a case via PayPal because Animed took the entire payment. This costs me only money:
the prescription I had to pay (vet), nearly £44 payment Payment Plan taken by Animed, medication NOT delivered and guess what....
Time has passed, no service and adjusting their mistakes and....by now the medication my dog so desperately needs is OUT OF STOCK.
Avoid this company!
I have open a dispute case (via PayPal).against them after I sent them screenshots bank-statements to proof they took my money. I emailed them this all but no reaction!
Called them several times but there is no getting through!

My dog needs Epiphen.
She's my everything so please, if this is the case for your pet as well.....
AVOID ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. They won't deliver the medication but they take your money!
