Great service tonight for the ladies darts. I also bought my family down from down south and they were so welcomed by the bar staff. A great family environment and would definitely recommend every time.

Now have in place Ansdell Institute newly opened coffee shop which is open Mon to Sat, from 10am to 6pm. Rooms have been redecorated and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Very reasonable priced with choices ranging from Lytham coffee, soft drinks, bottled beers, wines and spirits as well as sandwiches and other snacks. Rooms also available to hire with or without bar.

Leaking roof over snooker tables. Rooms cold. Not a good atmosphere. What a shame. It used to be well looked after, and a great atmosphere. Sadly no more.

The world is slowly passing it by. Making efforts to attract public with sports on TV and the snooker-darts. Needs a more comprehrnsive redecorating and reshaping. It's still built for old time clubs and needs to think about brightening up and food serving

Great informal and cheap venue for hire. Been here several times for different events. Ok it's not a Michelin star restaurant but it does what you'd want it to, and does it well.
