My go to butchers. Great for bbq meats Pies are something else. Steak and kidney pudding to die for..3 for £10 on prepacked chicken lamb and steaks..Superb selection of cheese. Excellent customer service..Always worth the trip

As a Londoner fed up with the demise of
local traditional English butchers now overrun with ritualistic religious halal butchers I choose not agree with, I made the effort today to pop into Anton's for a couple of fillet steaks and I'm glad I did. Anton and the staff were friendly and welcoming and supplied me with two very generous steaks. We both said after eating them how soft and tasty they were, not one morsel left on the plate, simply seasoned and cooked beautifully at 200°c until the internal temperature was 55°c and rested for 10 mins, resulting in Blushing and juicy slabs of steak. Was
Well worth the trip.

After trying one of the lamb and mint pie's supplied by Anton's Butchers to the coop in Charmouth in April this year I had to track him down when returning in August and bring some home, after a quick phone call he kindly freshly made and cooked me up a batch ,thank you they are the most delicious pie's I've ever had and wish you was nearer

Placed a phone order for simple holiday bbq food and was able to combine with an order for bakery items. Fantastic burgers and sausages so lean and full of flavour. Highly recommended, extremely friendly, helpful and great value for money. Thank you for the local delivery too. Shame we weren't staying long enough for another order.

Had 3 exceptional Ribeye steaks from here. Also had some delicious steak pie and sausage rolls!
Both very friendly and helpful butchers... also very knowledgeable about things to do in the surrounding area!
Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting.

We are traveling from America along the Jurassic Coast and spent a pleasant day in Cloyton. We walked by Anton’s and noticed some delicious looking pies in the window. We bought a steak and kidney pie and it was brilliant. The steak was as tender as could be and the crust was flawless. We returned later in the afternoon for 2 more pies and pasty for dinner! Delicious!!

Fantastic butchers. Meat is delicious. We were staying near Colyton for two weeks and regularly visited. The steak was so tender, we had the sausages and bacon (bacon was so good) and a lamb shoulder, which was full of flavour. The guys in there are also so friendly and lovely. They have fantastic senses of humour and we loved going in there for a chat as well as getting our meat.

Ps. Venison and marmalade sausages - a revelation!
