We are so delighted, and would highly recommend Applewood. Our wooden floors are perfect and finished to such a high standard. Our beautiful oak staircase with glass panelling is incredible, with our bespoke wine cabinet, nestled underneath and finishing it all off, really gives our hallway the wow-factor. Every part of the project was well designed, neatly installed, and the quality of the service was second to none. The team were so friendly, a real pleasure to have in our home, and such skilled craftsmen. Thank-you all so much.

From the moment my wife and I made contact with Peter and his fantastic team we knew had made the right decision.
Peter and his team were so willing to listen to what we wanted but not sure if it was achievable, Peter made some suggestions and helped point us in the right direction.
He came back with plans and a price, after a little bit of tweaking we knew it was going to be right.

Absolutely amazing company!
We had been left with many problems from a previous builder and our stairs needing completely replacing. Applewood Joinery were superb. They redesigned and refitted our stairs to an exceptional standard. The stairs are a work of art and hugely admired by everyone who comes to the house. The Applewood team were faultless in their service and everyone was dedicated to getting the job completed perfectly. They worked to time and left everything clean and tidy. We can't thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend them.

Brilliant workmanship and experience of fitting. We had made-to-measure internal glass and oak sliding doors and a new front door. They were quick at providing a quote and exactly on time to fit the items, moving the installation date to fit our needs. The joiners who came to our house were really nice and considerate, keeping us updated and getting the job done well. The quality of the doors and fitting is superb - a particular challenge, given nothing is quite true in our house. The work came in exactly on budget. I would highly recommend and have already asked them back for a further piece of work.

There are some things you need to know about Applewood Joinery before making a decision around purchase. Firstly, the quality of their product is good - no issues with it (in the most). The issues very much centre around communication and broken promises. Firstly - you will need to wait c.12 weeks for your items, be aware of that when ordering, a CAD diagram alone will take 4 weeks (for 4 windows and 1 door, 2 of the windows are the same). Secondly - despite personal assurances from a Director/shareholder around delivery - they dont mean anything, you will go day to day with promises of delivery with things not turning up. Lastly - you might end up with something you are told you agreed to in writing when you didnt. In our case, door furniture - questioned by our builder (knowing it was something we wouldnt choose) to be told we confirmed in writing thats what we wanted when we didnt and are now having to pay to replace. Overall the experience was not what we would expect - the quality whilst good is off-set entirely by the overall experience.
