This store was never the best but it’s really gone downhill recently. Lack of stock especially fruit and veg. Their scan and shop is always crashing so you end up having to scan the items again. Customer service desk has no staff so you have to go to the cigarette/lottery kiosk.
Awful store.
Oh and all their trolleys are knackered.

Had to hunt for a basket, to begin with. I asked for help to find a product, the reply was "I don't know" so I had to continue looking . At the checkout I was unable to use my voucher via the app. Again, i asked for support and was told I couldn't use it as the system update was preventing it. This lack of consideration appears to be common place, as each time I shop I observe it's declining approach to customers satisfaction. If not for the convenience I would shop elsewhere so maybe it would be worth going the extra miles as ASDA doesn't seem to want to.

Ordered through Deliveroo. Order picker FOLDED a pizza in half to squeeze it into an already half full bag. This is the third time this has happened on recent orders. Asda are capable of packing them properly, as undamaged pizzas have been ordered and received before, so why have they have decided that folding them and splitting the base (making them impossible to cook without half of the topping ending up on the floor of the oven) is a good idea? It clearly ruins it! Deliveroo did offer an immediate refund, but I'm not ordering items just to get a refund and have it thrown straight in the bin.

EDIT:

Further to your reply, I'm glad to see that you looked into the poor packing of your order pickers, Chris. The box of the pie is exactly as I would have expected it to have been delivered and is without doubt the one I would have selected myself instore. I mean, who in their right mind would ever expect their food to be in decent condition and not crushed? It's not like food is expensive or anything at the moment and who doesn't just love throwing food away?! Keep it up Asda and Chris... 10/10 for effort(!)

I was in store today with way son who is non verbal ASD. He takes his snake Teddy everywhere and recently also a small keyring with a plush pony. He dropped “pony” and as any mum with an autistic child can imagine, the meltdown started to build. We unfortunately couldn’t find pony but I would like to praise the ladies in the shop floor who sprang straight into action, searching, asking, contacting customer services, requesting a tannoy call, even offering him to choose a toy from the shelf and most of all completely understanding as I have him wear a sunflower lanyards to make people aware of a hidden disability the staff instantly recognised this and the situation and could not do enough to help. Thank you so much for understanding and going above and beyond.

Used to be good. Now often has empty shelves. Prices have gone mad, and products I used often have disappeared completely. There was a great smart price cake mix that made amazing sponge cakes. Gone. Staff are overworked and unhappy. It's just sad

So I ordered a birthday cake along with some Easter gifts for my friends at work. Did it thru the click and collect and oh boi. When I went to pick up it said order number not recognised I was there at my designated time slot but there was no one to help me so I called the number on the help page and they told me they will refund me in 5 days and I got to check out again and basically pay £90 for £45 worth of shopping. Which I wasn’t gunna do. I then tried to just request a refund but it wouldn’t approve it. So I basically paid £45 for nothing. DO NOT USE THE CLICK AND COLLECT ITS A BLOODY SCAM legit ruined my birthday has no cake 🙁 honestly will be going to Aldi from today went and got a FULL SHOPPING CART for £70!!!! Asda can do one honestly staff always rude and click and collect is a legit scam as saying my orders collected but it clearly ain’t :’)
