Alright store but my review is to point out it needs more appreciation for the workers. Was having a horrendous day and then on Victoria centre road a car flew at me as I was walking up to the shop and completely nearly ended me until… one of the mesmerising staff with bleached blonde hair ran to my rescue and managed to pull me out of the darkness and into the light, he then proceeded to tell me his dog just died and he had to come into work anyway, I hope you know if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t of been able to my very much needed weakly shop and I wouldn’t be writing this review right this minute, please have some mercy for this courageous soul.

I went to pick up my parcels, the ladywho was working, she was so rude and araggent.
I am sorry if you are tired it's not my problem you shouldn't be the way you were with customers, rude and not very nice I won't buy anymore from there.

Well stocked store which appeared to be kept clean and tidy. Staff seemed friendly and helpful when I asked for help to find the exit as there is more than one exit and the ones I went to were locked due to the time I visited. Large car park for parking

Went in to send off a returns parcel. A very kind member of staff called Tim helped me out when I had a bit of trouble. Very much appreciated. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves 🙂

'The' most frustrating shopping experience I've had in many many years, and why? Unmanned tills.
Why do companies treat the very people who keep them afloat with such contempt.

I did a shop (£114) so not an insignificant amount of stuff. On the self service till (massive queue on the few remaining manned tills), I pressed 'brought my own bag', placed my bag on the scales... Scanned first item, put in the bag, and it's came up with a message cancelling the shop, so had to start again, lady had to come over with ST (scanny thing - barcode).
From then on, every 2-3 items I had to have someone come with the ST, what an abomination. By the end I wanted to put my foot through the screen... Please please please get rid of these awful tills! You are frustrating everyone who has the misfortune to use them.

Absolute horror show
Ordered online. Told to collect between 2.30-3. It’s now nearly 4pm and I’m still waiting for my food. I was spoken to like a piece of dirt by some guy who resembled Hunchback of Notra Darm. Wait your turn. Nothing I can do about it. It’s not me. It’s not my fault.

Never ever coming back here again and it stinks of death

As with most Asda stores, there is a wide range of products at affordable prices. This store is easily accessible in the centre of town and carpets for most needs. However, it is very hot and miss with stock levels - many times I visit and items are out of stock, including long-life, store cupboard items that I really wouldn't expect to be out of stock. They really need to sort their ordering and delivery systems out.
