I absolutely love shopping at Aspinal. I buy for both myself and gifts for others. I adore the quality but the best part is the gift wrapping in those gorgeous, elegant boxes. It simplifies everything and the colours are perfect – so tasteful. Christmas is coming and I will soon be placing orders again. I shop online, since I do not live in London, and ordering is super-easy and delivery fast. I would recommend to all.

Ordered several items 3 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for them to be delivered. Took multiple attempts to get hold of head office to find out what is going on. They say they sent the items a week ago but Royal Mail is saying they don’t have them. For a luxury goods firm their service is very poor. I won’t be ordering from them again. Can’t comment on the items themselves, obviously, as I don’t have them.

We love the butler trays as gifts for friends special birthdays. So stylish and handy. Unfortunately we've not been able to get the initials printed for our more recent purchase as I think Aspinal has stopped doing this for butler trays.

Thieves and liars. Ordered two bags over two weeks ago, one not received, keep being told it will be sent and received by the 14 December and it has not. Returned one which was received for refund and told that he been refunded, but yet to receive the refund. Do not trust. £600 missing and stolen from Aspinal. Update- rang this morning 15th to be told refund has not been done neither has the other order (bag) been sent out and that someone would ring back this morning to sort out, no call back. They steel your money and don’t give you the goods.

Went in for a bag repair (Westfield White City), I did not have the receipt as it was a gift from my grandmother and she never expected such an expensive handbag to break (the handle clean snapped off).

They said I needed 'proof of purchase' and when I said it was an Aspinal bag so unless they are disputing it's authenticity there should surely be no proof needed they shrugged.

Ended up having the bag sent away and told they would give me a quote (again shrugged and said 'dunno' when I asked if they had any idea of the repair cost). It's such a joke to buy a £600 bag, use it under ten times - at which point it breaks and then be charged for a repair. Such rude, unhelpful staff and terrible customer service.

Customer service in excellent. The zip on my wallet had come off (over use by the wife). Popped in to the store in Westfields expecting to be told they'll send off and come back in 6 months (Mulberry). BUT NO NO NO. The staff member sorted it straight away with an exchange even though it was a few months old. NOW THATS SERVICE.
My son is now 6 years old and he will inherit my Aspinal wallet along with his grandfather watch. He would get the bag too but my mother in law stole it.

Poor Quality and after sales service. I purchased a mens hanging wash bag in 2016 (current price £225). within a couple of weeks the plastic on the inside pocket had split. It seemed unusually brittle. I returned the washbag to the Brook Street store where it was replaced free of charge. I pointed out that I felt that the plastic was not the best material for the job and asked for this to be fed back to the design team. A couple of months later - same issue. I had another replacement item and gave the same feedback. This product is for travelling, it should be able to withstand being in a suitcase/weekend bag and being a bit squashed. 2 Years later - I had the same issue. This time I returned to the Long Acre store in Covent Garden, after they had my wash bag for 4 weeks, they told me that it could not be repaired and would not be replaced but that I could buy a new one with a small discount. I also noted that the type of plastic has been changed in the current model, so clearly Aspinal knew that there was a fault in the original material and made a change (Plastic is now clear and flexible, where as in the older models like mine it is matt and brittle). A £225 leather washbag should last for life and age beautifully. I am very disappointed with the outcome, especially as I have spent thousands in Aspinal over the years, buying gifts for people as well as items for myself (Wedding Albums, Wallets, Passport Holders, Hip Flasks, etc). I won't be buying anything from Aspinal again, and I certainly will not be taking them up on their offer of 15% off a new washbag! What an insult. I'll upload picture of the fault when I finally get my wash bag returned to me. Grrrr. P.S. If anyone from Aspinal actually reads this and cares feel free to call me. Your covent Garden store has my details.

I've bought from them before and been delighted but I just wanted to order something for my daughter and was told I could get the first four letters of her name engraved for free but the fifth and final letter would cost me an extra £35! What a rip off!
