2023: it's looking even better than last year. More and varied food and drinks offerings, more seating and exciting mood lighting. Just a great place to hang out and soak up the atmosphere.

2022: Great place to hang out if you're a festival fan?. Expensive food and drink stands - there are no budget options?

Really cracking spot during the Fringe! The pint prices are to be expected (£5.60 for Amstel and £7.50 for Moretti). So many different types of spaces to sit and the food vendors are really varied. We enjoyed stuffed pittas and falafel from Chick and Pea. We preferred this side of George Square to the Underbelly but only marginally.

Excellent venue during the Edinburgh Festival ,something for all the family . Food available throughout the whole complex from all around the world. If you are wanting to see a particular show there are tickets available around the venue. It's advised to get tickets early to avoid disappointment as its predicted 2023 is going to be a bumper year.

Here during the Edinburgh Fringe festival and it's great. There's loads of stands selling food and drink with plenty of seating and toilets. The venues are just outside the entrance to the gardens so easy to access and quickly.
