No parking at the Palace, but parking available a short walk away.

Beautiful building, amazing history, very enthusiastic volunteers (sometimes I felt pounced on), great cafe, large art collection.

The lower floor of the faith museum was incredibly interesting, upstairs felt like a chill out rave experience when everyone else was on drugs and swept up in the atmosphere. Fortunately I wasn't invited to their party and made a quick exit.

We went to see the AGLOW Christmas Lights and it was an amazing experience not too crowded and the light trail kept on surprising us and there were so many wow moments. Definitely recommend it. The parking was about 5 min walk but was free after 4pm so no complaints.

This is a fabulous place to visit, you really need 2 days to do everything the Auckland Project has achieved. Lovely cafe, beautiful Faith Museum, 2 art galleries and more. Very friendly staff, good parking in town. Local people are rightly proud of it

Visited to see the Xmas Decorations before they finished on New Year's Eve. Also viewed the amazing Neapolitan Nativity, one of five in the world.

Really great place to visit. The walled garden and the grounds are gorgeous, the castle itself is beautiful and tells interesting stories, and the Faith Museum was an unexpectedly delightful museum. All the docents were very knowledgeable and very passionate about the history. A little pricey to enter compared to other heritage sites but for what you get, it's pretty good. The cafe is also lovely. Serving a small menu of locally sourced food, it was great for refueling after spending hours walking around.

You do have to park and walk a bit to get there so bear that in mind if you have accessibility issues. We parked in the multi-story carpark by the shopping centre and were a bit put out to learn that the permit machine only accepted coins. No bills or cards. We had to purchase something from Gregg's to get change to pay for parking.

Amazing, such a great diverse selection of attractions, we purchased the full pass and managed to visit the Spanish Gallery and the Castle. We are already planning on going back next week to visit the mining museum. The staff were amazing and really made today special, well done! We also had tapas next to the gallery and coffee and cake at the castle, both delicious.

An imposing place. Quite a lot to see as there are various exhibitions. We didn't actually get to visit the deer park, but tge gardens were a treat. Part garden, part allotment; but laid out as a terrace. Perhaps not suitable for those with limited mobility. The greenhouse is spectacular. Reasonable charges at nearby car park.
