I contacted Andrew Waring Associates after our plumbers discovered an RSJ beneath our bathroom floor where pipework needed to pass. Not wanting to compromise its structure, and unsure of the impact of drilling it, I spoke to AWA, who asked me to email details through. Within a few hours they had reviewed these and let me know that what we proposed to do was safe and would have no adverse impact. They gave brief but clear instructions, and were good enough not to charge for the advice. This was very much appreciated, as we would have been unable to continue the project confidently without it.
