Do not use protyre.

Took my car for a service. I was told that my front brake discs and pads needed changing and that the car needed an oil change. I allowed the oil change but said the brake discs/pads couldn't need doing after less than 6 months and less than 3000miles.

I had the brake discs and pads looked at by someone else and there is nothing wrong with them.

I do not believe my car has been serviced or that the oil was changed and I've paid around £250 for this. I want a refund however customer services are doubling down saying it was all carried out but that the team has received training related to brake discs and pads. I will now have to pay out again to ensure that the work is done. Disappointing. I will not be using them again

Further to my original post, see below, I have now spoken to the manager at Bathwick Tyres - Team Protyre Devizes. I fully understand why the rear alignment was required however I still do not understand the pricing structure. The work took less than 15 minutes, it was labour only (no parts required) and the charge was £80. This seems a heavily inflated price for this service, but when questioned I was informed that their competitors would charge a similar or higher amount. I therefore stand by my previous comment and still leave feeling ripped off and will not be returning!

After having two tyres fitted and alignment of the front wheels, I was informed that the rear wheel alignment was way out and required sorting. I was then charged an additional £80 for this service. I have since checked with other providers of this service and this cost shoud be half this price. After what was initially a good service I left feeling completely ripped off!

Needed 100k service and steering repairs to my Nissan. After collecting, noticed a knocking on my steering. Took it back and issue was sorted out directly. Protyre replaced the part no quibble & re-did alignment without charging! Excellent reassurance for Protyre customers to know that Erin + Team have your back!!

Took my car for a full service and should have been straight forward. The chap doing the service basically set my car into safety mode. So I was left without my car for 2 days for a simple full service which I paid for with no offer of a refund or real apology. Will not be going back there and wouldn’t recommend.
