I was a technician with baywater for just over 12 months and loved the job.

Past few months i had a lot of things going on in my personal life with family

And this started to affect mental health issues

I had told my area management
Who were a little supportive
But this company bangs on we have your back and lots of support for you if you have any problems!!

I was told its a 8 till 5 job

But I could start and finish within reason
As long as I had carried out and finished all of my duties and had done the required 8 hour a day

So I did a 10 am start and finished into the evening of minimum 6/7 pm and most nights later on in the evening
No overtime was put in

Anyway last and foremost

Last 3 /4 weeks i had a major family incident

This resulted me into an absolute train crash of a breakdown
More so to try and take my own life!!
Anyway as i had a company van whilst off on the the sick

The company asked if it was possible to return the vehicle as they had a few issues with company vehicles breaking down

So i returned to work as asked with the vehicle

To be issued with a company letter that I'm had been sacked
I was officially on the sick at the time with sick notes sent in from my
Doctors

Bit cruel to be sent on.my way the way it ended

Some bulls** Bradford factor

The company insists on helping with people with mental health issues

Probably made mine alot worse the way i was treated

Well done

Fantastic service. Mark Patern (if remembered correctly) has looked after my aunt in Denton this week. Original machine was noisy so he went above and beyond to change it to a quieter one the same day. And to top it off has just called round to see if my aunt is OK and happy with the new machine. He is a absolute credit to your company.

Disgusting Service From Baywater
Keep giving me rounded bottom tanks that don’t stand up !!? Numerous problems with the cannulas keep sending out the small ones when I need the larger one in the shower for the larger tank .. said 4 times to the drive to make sure and still gave me the short one so called up yet again and they still don’t know what your on about .i said check my prescription you can see on there what I’m meant to have . So now have to wait till Saturday for a technician to come out bearing in mind it’s Thursday. as they can’t get the cannulas right . Also make you wait days for the oxygen tanks as it said I already reviewed before not allowed to review again I’ll be telling my consultant therapist about changing suppliers as not happy about the service Not Care about people’s Needs who are dependant on Oxygen we don’t need the Stress it’s bad enough without this

Very unhelpful staff(Not to mention rude!) Had a job booked in and the technician decided to move it even though I’ve been waiting in all day

When I called Staff member (Claire )they she such a bad attitude and was so unhelpful. She told me that I didn’t have a job booked today, even though I did and I have to put me on hold she found out that she was incorrect

Had to call several times and for something as important as oxygen staff are very unhelpful so are technicians the worst oxygen company provided

Never written a review before but this experience prompted me to do so. A Baywater technician came into my home without confirming an appointment to replace my son’s bipap, after two years of waiting for this replacement. He came without my son’s prescription from Great Ormond Street Hospital and transcribed our current settings to the new bipap without confirming or even knowing how many programmes he has or the prescription itself. Other things transpired but this, to me, is the most serious. I’ve reported this to CQC, my ICB, social services, GOSH, NCL ICB, and Baywater. I’ve received responses from ALL those listed EXCEPT Baywater. I haven’t received a response outlining the expected investigation time, apology for having to submit a complaint, or any acknowledgment. But I suppose when a technician thinks he doesn’t have to go through any sort of central booking to set up an appointment and come without the prescribed settings on a bipap, that I really shouldn’t be surprised to not have heard from the company in question.
