When we were looking for an Artist to help us with the making of Figures for The Peter Rabbit children’s Garden in Redcar Cemetery we searched many sites and spoke to many people.
We could not find anyone to help us with the size of the Figures we wanted.
Then we came across Billy Cessford a very talented young man who surprisingly lived Locally.
We visited Billy in his workshop in Warrenby where we saw other projects he’d been working on and knew that he understood and could deliver exactly what we wanted. After Billy visited the Cemetery to see the Area we put in an order to make A Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle Duck and MRS Tiggy Winkle ( hedgehog) These figures are Amazing and are Loved by everyone who visits the Cemetery.
We were so pleased with Billy’s work we asked him to make a Secret Door to complete the Story of the Hedgehog.
Heartfelt Thanks Billy for your excellent work that has helped make this Children’s Garden a very special place to bring Comfort to Bereaved Parents and Families who visit it.
