My mum had the Belong home help for about 5 years before moving in to the Belong home. The ladies from Belong were caring and attentive, when my mum fell over etc, they would stay with her until as long as necessary. When my mum moved in to the Belong home, the care was professional and so compassionate. I cant thank the members of staff who tended to my mum in her last week enough.

I am a current employee at belong macclesfield.
Firstly I would like to give the bistro team a massive thankyou for my salted caramel latte in a morning ,you really do keep me going, nothing is ever too much trouble when I come down for extra bits for my household, pleasant happy staff where nothing is too much trouble.
Being a senior in a new role at belong I am finding my feet nicely and feel that this is because of the overall support and fantastic training I have /am receiving to bring the best out in me and unable me to perform my duties to the best I can .
Belong really do have everybody's best interests at heart not just the residents but I feel in my experience of working for belong I have been helped massively along the way to further my potential and career in my chosen path and would highly recommend belong for anybody either starting out in care or just fancie a change , I can honestly say the care our residents recieve is the best I have ever seen!!! I have seen my self grow by watching and learning all different ways of dealing with situations through my peers and find it remarkable that there is actually light at the end of a very dark tunnel searching for the perfect home where every1 is CARED for and it's not just for show I truly love working here yes there are good and bad days but nothing that can't be resolved through a listening ear of the management or a Co worker....I love that from what I have seen the support from various members of staff is impeccable and they keep there word which is if you need me give me a shout .

belong at home support for my mother was exceptional. She was determined to maintain her independence, and the staff helped her to do this. She was very fond of her carers and they provided her with respect and dignity, being very skilled in judging the balance between care provided and promoting self care. My mum looked forward to her daily visits but still enjoyed having 1 day a week to care for herself. The staff that visited my mum could turn their hand to anything she needed and when required they went the extra mile. Having Belong staff gave myself and my sister peace and confidence that she was safely remaining in her own home which was her greatest wish. Thank you for everything you did, Liz

My mum spent her last 18 months at Belong Macclesfield. She was blind and bedridden with numerous health issues, but retained her sharp intellect and was very aware of her surroundings and what was happening in the world. The care that she received was of a consistently high standard. Staff always tried to involve her in activities and treated her as a valued member of the community. The support that she, and we as her family, received was excellent. Without any doubt, Belong Macclesfield is the best nursing home that I have ever had dealings with....

The best care home I have ever seen. The residents are so well looked after, the staff really care about them and it shows. People are clean, well dressed and well attended to. The facility is designed to give people as much freedom as they can manage, and make it as easy as possible for family to visit. Special requirements are catered for, if the meal for that night isn't suitable for someone, they make them something else. The food is prepared in the open plan seating dining area. This means people get to smell food cooking before they eat, which massively improves their appetite. Staff take the time to get to know each person, and their likes and dislikes, for example they play residents their favourite music which has been proven to help with memory. I have seen many care homes in the area, and this is so so much better it is gobsmacking. They even have flats that husbands/wives can live in to be near their partner. Staff even go back in their own time and visit residents after they have moved wards, it is a really good place.

My auntie moved here for nursing care only yesterday, and immediately we were put at ease by her carers. Her room is lovely with lots of lovely sensory calming things for her to look at. She looked so peaceful and content and. I cannot wait to be able to visit soo on person.
