Walked past the harbour on the coastal path walk towards St Helens. It looks lovely. Nice to see the houseboats too. Saw a few people who were catching crabs from the water! Great walk next to the harbour and along the causeway.

A very pretty harbour. It's a working fishing port as well as a destination for visiting yachtsmen and has 2 busy sailing clubs. There are houseboats around one side and lots of moorings in the middle for small craft that dry out at low tide. If you're interested in sailing in you have to check the tides carefully. There is an entrance channel that is "dredged" but it is very narrow with fast tides and there is a bar at the entrance.

It was lovely to revisit one of our favourite boating venues for a day yesterday. Very happy that you are open again, and we look forward to staying over once the rules allow. As ever, a great welcome - your ‘half glass full’ philosophy always evident, even in these trying times.
