I ordered a custom steel bench for storing bags of smokeless fuel. It was manufactured exactly to the measurements I had specified and arrived exactly when Benchmaster had promised. The quality of the product is very high. I would order from them again.

We ordered this “despatch bench”, along with some other workbenches. A few weeks later, they were dropped outside our office, and it was immediately apparent that it would not go through any doorway, save for double doors or a barn door! Bench Master must have known this and yet they did not mention at the time of ordering or even after. We are left with an expensive problem in the foyer of our building. Bench Master denied any responsibility or liability whatsoever, stating “we are not experts in doorways”!! After ignoring our emails for several days, they eventually offered to collect and modify the bench for £200 extra. We could have the most expensive bench in Manchester, but the experience left such a bad taste, we have decided to resolve this ourselves, by doing what they should have done, making the top section detectable. AVOID!!

I recently placed an order for the company I work for and Benchmasters were incredibly efficient, delivering well before the estimated lead time, which was great as we needed the items urgently.

Unfortunately, the items I ordered did arrive damaged due to courier handling, however benchmaster kindly reimbursed us for a chunk of the cost meaning we could then afford to fix the problem ourselves and enable us to use the items sooner, even though the damage was caused by the delivery service.

Will definitely use again! Thank you for the impeccable level of customer service in these testing times!

Kate in customer service has been excellent and they were even able to shift the delivery date to accommodate my schedule. The deliveryman was lovely as well.
