I was a big believer in Ben and his bestmeat deals on fb. I ordered numerous times and gave 5* reviews. Meat WAS great hence repeat orders.
I ordered two 3g boxes of superior sirloin steaks again. Upon opening the transport box, the 2 two lots of sirloin steaks were just on trays with sirloin steak written on stickers.
I opened them and they resembled rashers of bacon with rind that was half as wide as the steak. They were think but no way were they good enough to call superior.
I contacted the company. The person who replied was rude and quite nasty. According to them, no customer ever received the blue box shown in the picture of 3kg superior steak as all steaks delivered to customers on trays.
I was told I was a liar, that I must be confused because the steaks I was sent were not from them. I understood the steaks go by weight so quantity would vary.
I definitely remember the box coming with the steaks in . On the ad on their site it says average of 12 to 14 steaks. The box we received had 9 in but that was fine, meat gorgeous, tender and one steak big enough for 2 people when tenderised. Very thin layer of rind. I had never had steak so nice and bragged about it on fb.
This person was rude the way she called me liar and confused. She then twisted it to say they weren't rude and that they did not lie.
I know my orders came on trays and I also know that the order that had 9 huge steaks came in that box shown on site pic. Basically, no customer service skills at all. She dismissed my reason for contacted them and never mentioned it again. I praise a company for years but then come across this person with no customer service skills telling me I'm lying about past orders and that I must be very confused. They have deals on with their meat. Steak deals which I thought I was buying superior sitloin 3kg box but having been delivered a total 6kg on trays that i now believe were from cheaper deals and not quality I'd always received previously.
I was only letting them know I was disappointed at what I received this delivery. I wish I'd taken photos last time to capture the inner box as proof. Apparently, I DID NOT get them in the box I got the other orders on trays. The tray was inside the box I got with superior written on it .
Having such a different quality steak as in photo attached, I honestly thought latest packs were maybe from a cheaper deal bestmeats had on at same time and running out of certain meats as its so busy at xmas, they just fulfilled my order using steaks from maybe 10 sirloin for @25 instead hoping I'd not see the difference.
So annoyed at the person who kept replying to me and being nasty and rude. No need for it. Got my back up. The behaviour of this person has shown me that I can't trust them and to have no more future dealings with them will be wiser than having to go through this crap again. there are ways of treating and speaking to people but some people are much braver behind a screen and just don't care.

Ordered on the Tuesday, package was delivered on Friday (could have been sooner but Friday was when I would be in all day)

The meat we have tried so far is really tasty. I ordered the BBQ pack for £20 which is really good value considering the amount you get.

I will be ordering again, highly recommended.

I dont know why you're moaning here, but I've received perfect rump steak 🥩. Definitely will order it again! Thank you bud. One steak weights around 280g, perfect lunch snack 😀💪💪

I’ve ordered from these guys for year now, my first order was spot on, could not fault it, I was raving to all my friends about it. My last two orders have been mainly red meat. I wasn’t impressed with my steaks as they were smaller & thinner than before. Not the greatest customer service, if I’m honest bit blunt & rude. A company who can’t take criticism, really shouldn’t be serving fresh produce online. I placed my last order, jeez the ribeye steaks were even worse than before. Imagine ‘minute steak’ but thinner and smaller!! I’ve uploaded pics, which shows the before & after, the food is on a small size plate. Needless to say it went in the bin, didn’t even want to give it to the dogs. Absolutely shocking steaks, wherever they source their meat from isn’t reputable or of good quality, I won’t be ordering again.
My local farmer is going to start selling their own produce, so I’m going to support local from now on. I strongly suggest anyone who’s a meat fan, try buy local if you can. You have more traceability, assurance of the animals welfare and a much better tasting product.

Ordered a bundle deal for £70, it arrives no problem but the chicken fillets was missing. My friend ordered the same time and hers was missing too. She messaged the Facebook page and was the response was in a rude way. I messaged them with all my details and we was both issued with a £5 refund for the chickens, which since had.

Fast forward a couple of days. I had left the tasty chicken in the fridge (with hardly any seasoning on) Best for date for the following day. Upon opening the chicken it had a rancid eggy gone off smell so the chicken had clearly gone off. No point in messaging them because I know their customer service skills isn't the best.

If you're going to go to the butchers I recommended going local than buying from an online butcher. 1st and last time I will be ordering from them!

Ordered a few times, it's just cheap council benefit fodder to be honest. Looks alot but actually isn't. Steaks were really dark and minging last time we ordered. Smelt awful and bitter. Have never ordered since. See the reviews also agree with me.

I have accessed the online service a few times and have purchased their everybody gets free meat option, including add-ons I have spent roughly £125 on meat, this lasts me roughly 3 - 4 months feeding a family of 3. The meat is off good quality and they do not shortt change you. Delivery is not always the quickest however, it may just be the time of year and amount of orders that need fulfilling.
