Before we ordered for the first time, after reading all the reviews below, we were a bit suspicious. Since a friend recommended them, we trusted him instead of "dissatisfied" customers and failed ex-company employees (I don't know why Google allows them to write a review since they didn't get any services). Anyway, we can only say superlatives about Bestweld. Very fast, high quality and cheaper compared to all the other companies we have used so far. We thoroughly recommend them. Please keep doing what you are doing; it can't be better 🙂

I usually use Surrey Steels but wanted to keep it local on this occasion to support local business....I regret that now.

A very misleading quotation stating that things were included when they were not. I Was told 24 hours turn around before paying, once I paid I was told 24-72 hours but would be called and informed when it was ready. I was in a hurry at this point.

One week later I had received no phone call so I chased them. Went to collect and was told that some of the bits were not ready and to come back on Wednesday (ten days after my initial 24 hour turn around quote)

Took the steel home to install and the holes had been drilled in the wrong position despite my printing everything off for them and making sure they understood. I messaged the company, no response.

I went into the office two weeks after payment to get the parts that were missing - still were not there and they didn't seem to care.

No remorse for drilling holes in the wrong position was supposed to be 25mm above and below the centre line as per structural engineer's drawings but they were drilled 25mm off the edge. I had to get my builder to re-drill in the correct position as Building control confirmed they will only sign off what's on the SE's drawings.

All in all i'm very disappointed and wish i'd have stuck with my usual provider mentioned above who operate much more professionally. If I was a rude and impolite customer i'd understand but there is no excuse for this.

Service was ok / average right up to the point they took my payment, from that point on my experience went very sour very quickly.

I can't believe the owner "lady" how greedy she is !!!
I don't know from which country she is coming to here but I'm very sure that she is coming from a very greedy background, hungry for a money and she will stay hungry forever even if she became a billionaire...very shame to ask me to pay £45 minimum charge for small touch of welding ...she surprise me but I understand once she talk how materialistic she is ....avoid this place just because of such hungry Girl like this .
