It is amazing to walk around. It has benches that allow you to sit and eat when you watch the birds just be careful they don't take your food. You can also feed the ducks while you watch them just don't feed them bread. You can walk down to the village to get food from one of the many shops if you don't bring your own as its a 5 minute walk. It is close to a busy road however so it can be loud during rush hour and busy times.

North pond has plenty of mallards, coots, moorhens, tufted ducks, swans and sometimes canadian geese and the occasional cormorant and grey heron. There is also a small population of khaki campbells. There are a number benches and a couple of picnic tables as well as a footbridge that allows you to be get away from the main road.

Lovely ponds. Can see fish, ducks, geese and other wild birds. Can also spot rats and other wildlife.
Love the bridge over as it's a little haven before and after school where we can feed the ducks with oats.
If visiting, please take your rubbish home and if you pet fouls the bridge or surrounding pond, please pick it up. Poo bins and bags are located all the way round - no excuses!

Popular spot for locals to feed the ducks. Unfortunately much reduced in size from original medieval fish pond, due to unsympathetic development in the 60s. Much improved by local volunteers in recent years.
