We used Bishops Waltham Removals for our recent move and they were amazing. From when we made contact and got the quote, they were friendly and courteous, giving us updates for when they’ll arrive and the process on the day of the move.

On the day, Matt and Lewis made short work of getting us all packed into their van, getting us ready well within the time we needed to vacate the property. They were efficient at the other end too, helping us get unloaded and unpacked super quickly. It was a very hot day, so I appreciated the extra effort it took moving from a first floor flat to a 4 storey house with all those stairs!

The original survey, the support team in your office and last but by no means least, the team who packed up and delivered all my effects was all excellent.

I particularly want to express my gratitude for the great job that Sean and the 2 other guys did on delivery. Fast, efficient and very impressive, particularly the way that Sean was determined to find a solution to get a very large, awkward and fragile glass cabinet up 6 flights of stairs. It looked impossible but somehow they managed it - brilliant!

I used Bishops Waltham Removals for my move, and I really can't praise them enough. From the quote, to booking and visiting the office, everyone was so helpful and friendly. I had to change my removal date, but Peter and the team were very accommodating.
When it came to the actual move, the team arrived and worked like trojans in the torrential rain.
They were efficient and got the job done while remaining cheerful even when they had a long wait to unload at the other end.

We've used a number of moving companies over the years – for five UK moves and three internationals. Although Bishops Waltham Removals staff were friendly and seemed to work hard, it’s the first time that we experienced so many damaged items including our new sofa arriving dirty and embedded with wood splinters – as if it had been dragged uncovered across the removal truck floor. No house move or removal company can be perfect, but it was a catalogue of disasters causing damage to so many items; some which are inherited family antiques with considerable sentimental and monetary value.

Beyond the many damaged items caused by Bishops Waltham Removals we experienced so much stress during the move and thereafter trying to resolve our insurance claim. All of this occurred despite the assurances we received from the Sales Representative, Barry … that we would be looked after by the professional removal team and that he would be present on the day of removals to ensure that everything would go smoothly and that our antiques would be looked after. He never appeared for the two days of packing, nor did he even have the courtesy to call to let us know that he was too busy. In the end, save for one time, he would not take any of our calls or respond to our emails to answer our genuine complaints.

We chose Bishops Waltham Removals because we wanted to support a local company and not some large national company. But BEWARE, as we do not want others to go through what we did. Employ them at your own risk and do so if you want lots of stress, to be treated poorly and spend lots of money to have many of your possessions damaged. Given our dreadful and upsetting experience with Bishops Waltham Removals, and our financial loss of close to £500, we would never ever consider using them again.

Everything was packed and moved with such great care. To Scott, Ash, and Darren, thank you for packing everything up so beautifully. To Jason and Nic, thank you for making such a long distance move so easy for me. It was a 1000-mile round trip for you and you never stopped smiling.

Absolutely great removal experience from start to finish, we relocated last week from Leicestershire to Southampton. Jason and Tom were brilliant; such hard working, efficient and friendly guys and made the whole process so much easier! I Would definitely recommend to anyone. I highly recommend BWR for professionalism, price and efficiency. Every member of the team that I spoke to was helpful and friendly (I phoned the office a lot when we were arranging a moving date!) and the removals team on the day were amazing. They had our 4 bed house packed in 2 hours, and unpacked (with furniture where I wanted it) just as efficiently.

If I ever move again (and I very much hope not) I will be booking BWR.
