I ordered three different styles of spindles as samples to see which I liked best. After deciding, I placed a full order in October. The delivery arrived promptly, but I didn’t open the parcel until the end of January. That’s when I realised I had more angled brackets and fewer stair brackets than I needed.

I knew I’d made a big mistake by not checking the order when it arrived, and since it was well past their 28-day return policy, I expected to have to pay for new brackets. However, when I called and explained the situation, the woman on the phone was incredibly helpful. She simply asked me to send back the extras and arranged for the correct brackets to be sent out—at no extra cost to me!

To top it off, my new brackets arrived within 24 hours. Amazing customer service! I always judge a company by how they handle aftercare, and Black Metal Company exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them!

Ordered an outside hanging lantern, which was in a sale "while stocks last" £35.
I was a bit confused about the delivery....wasn't sure if it was next day 3 to 4 days or 12 to 16 weeks
After a month or so I rang the Black country metal works and was told it was actually 12 to 16 weeks lead time,with a due delivery date,the 2nd week in January.
Well it actually arrived last week the 1st week of December,which came as a nice surprise.
It was well worth the wait, the lamp is of good quality and was well protected within its packaging 📦
I would definitely buy from this company again,without any hesitation in the future.

Brought a few items now and never been disappointed can't remember which i brought first 🤔🥸👍,
But find myself checking the website for anything else I might need lol 🤣👍,
I would like the log storage to be taller,

Ordered a companion set and log holder and was very impressed with the items. Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Ordered on the Thursday evening and they arrived Saturday afternoon. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend this company.

Still a work in progress but the spindles and brackets are amazing value for money, the brackets are a little annoying at times to get the Allen key screw to tightened up so the spindles are straight they look good and have created a modern look to our hall.

Rip off, big con.
We only came to look at the fireside items. Tiny display of a few items! Paid £32 for absolutely nothing! Complete and utter rip off!!!
Claims to be dog friendly but dogs not allowed on the carpeted areas, basically all the shopping areas.
Won’t buy from the website now as we feel coned

Edit review: After the company saw this review, they contacted us and gave three options to get this resolved. One is replace with the same model but with a different finish, replace it with no extra cost with any other guard or a refund. The gentleman on the phone was amazing bending over backwards to please us so that we were happy. I have changed the review to five stars purely on the after sales service. I will keep the original review under this edit to show how authentic and honest the company is.
Original review: Ordered a fire guard yesterday, and it arrived today. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the images on the website. The twists in spires aren't as tight, and then the tops of the spires aren't shaped correctly. The joins aren't as smooth and look very rushed. The joints for the candle rings look ready to break, and even the glass for the candles to sit in are not the right shape. Luckily, it'll do it's job but unfortunately, it just looks like a temu version.

Just received my order and everything is absolutely stunning!! Incredibly well wrapped and packaged. Delivery driver stayed for me to check everything with it a fuss. Matt the delivery driver was so friendly funny and careful with my boxes.
