After watching The Imitation Game, we decided to go and see this Marvel of British History.
Without doubt, this place is worth a visit, if not two.
We both felt rather emotional to think that such brave and intelligent people went to such lengths, for the cause of Our Country.
There are tour guides, which we decided to take. The man was fantastic and so knowledgeable with several incredible stories. It was an Anniversary of Bletchley, and so had numerous original members there to celebrate their unforgettable work.
Thank you for all for your service, and thank you for a fabulous day.

Superb place to visit, gives a real sense of British history from the war in a particular British way. So good to see the place thriving after it came close to shutting it's doors over a decade ago. An enormously important slice of history is placed here and I hope it remains to prosper.

I absolutely loved Bletchley Park!

I wouldn't have had anywhere near as interesting of a time if I hadn't had the audio/visual tour. Definitely worth it, and I don't believe it costs extra.

Also, FYI, the giant coniferous tree in front of the mansion is a giant redwood!

Absolutely fantastic, great facilities, wealth of knowledge from our tour guide, informative regarding the history of the park and how the premises came to be facilitated by the government and forces etc..lots of excellent displays in all the rooms/ huts equipment with videos and audible recording..of the activities and staff passing informative through secret filing cabinet, or via a runner..
The mansion has retained much of the original interior apart from a few adjustments.
Having to build more huts to accommodate the all the workers to break the codes..for enigma codes..
The machines ..computer..lots of ex staff remembering there experience at the park..
Travelling to Bletchley via train or buses etc..
Having to keep it all very secretly from family friend or even work colleagues..
Cafes, restaurants, tea room restrooms facilities, shop..
Highly recommend a visit

Fantastic visit to Bletchley. So much to see, and the interactive display tables are great.
I was there on the day of the 70th anniversary of Alan Turing's death. It was chilling to stand in his office on that day.
The house and grounds are beautiful, there is history everywhere.
Well worth a visit.

The house itself is very interesting. Brought by a developer in so many acres of grounds he was going to develop it probably by knocking the house down. The MoD made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Over a period of time it was then used to break the codes of the Germans to help to change the course of the war. This is only a small part of the story. Their is so much more to see it is well worth a visit.

Incredible place. So much history and so big. Recommend arriving early on as it took us 4 hours to get around properly. There's plenty to see. There is a nice cafe that does everything from sandwiches to main meals. It's not cheap but the food is good. Also, there are plenty of picnic benches. Note, buy tickets in advance as you see money.
