Easy trails, lots of ways to go round and avoid other people. Nice place for family walk or walk with a dog. There is usually a moderate amount of walking people (with dogs mostly), but because of the amount of possible trails, most likely, you will meet someone once per while.

Very nice walk, me and the girlfriend went on the blue trail with our baby in a backpack on a weekday. The car park was free and had plenty of spaces with a nice picnic area with benches. Overall it took just over 2 hours to complete, I would describe it mainly as a woodland walk nothing much else to see, but it's still a nice walk. It's a moderate walk that has flat bits, gravel, and a few inclines along the way. We walked to the other car park and back in a loop, the smaller car park could do with a new signage board as lot's of the paper was scattered on the flloor. Also they need to do something about the dog poo bags as they are literally everywhere, either provide some bins or clean it up it's disgusting.

Big place so even if it's busy at the carpark once you're on a trial everyone is pretty spread out.

So many different routes. I recommend avoiding where the horses go if you've got dogs. The horses we saw rode pretty fast.

Not giving a fifth star because there's no dog poo bins which means people just pile them up.

Great wood of mixed trees and plant with a number of trails through it. One path covered and flat, most are earth paths, narrow and slightly rough in a few places. Easy walking with a few light slopes. Good place to have an hour walk with family, friends and dogs.

Would love it even more if people will not leave rubbish , next my journey I am taking bin bag and will tidy up.
Different trials for different abilities(have look on map).
You can use walk app too .
Benches near quite big car park and place where you can have tea or coffee and snack.

Oh wow ? this place is huuuuge, just goes on forever. We spent about 4 hours here with the doggies and don't think we even walked half of it. at the start there's also a big carpark which is free of charge, boooonus!! ? When we got there this was packed so we parked further down the road and walked up. Even though there were lots of people during our walk we didn't actually see many people which speaks volumes about how large this woodland is. Now for the important bit: There are permissible bridleways all around the place so please be mindful of these as the horse riders can sneak up on you, like they did to us on one of the narrow pathways. Scared the living daylight out of me Theres variety of trees too and different woodlands which makes the whole place that more interesting.

Well pathed, though you can go off into the woods through small muddy trails and find your self lost if you like. Lots of free parking space, a car park on either side. Sometimes a coffee van is van in the car park. Routes ranging from 0.5 to 4 miles. Though you can just go anywhere you like really, there is a bit of a path/road that goes straight down the middle. As long as you know how to find that you can never get truly lost. But you can very much go deep into the woods.

No facilities/toilets

Would be a good place to go and walk around however too many irresponsible dog owners. There may not be bins provided, however if there are no bins take the bags home with you and discard them there. Too many people have just followed others bad example and left them near trail entrances in a pile.
