Our wedding day was made absolutely unforgettable thanks to the incredible talent of Bloomsbury Event Group! We had the pleasure of having them as our 8-piece wedding band, and they exceeded all expectations.

One of the most memorable moments of our reception was our decision to do a gender reveal during our first dance, and Bloomsbury Event Group played a pivotal role in making it magical. Their music performance was flawless, setting the perfect atmosphere for the big reveal.

Thank you so much for your contribution to our whole day. Everything from start to finish was amazing (apart from the rain). You were amazing and many people commented on how good ths music was. Bloomsbury Music were absolutely fantastic for our wedding. They were easily the favourite supplier we worked with! They provided a beautiful string quartet for the ceremony and an amazing band for the evening party - everyone was on their feet and dancing and the evening ended with our guests calling for more! Not only were the musicians fantastic on the day, the whole process was great. Matt went above and beyond sorting everything out in advance of the big day, offering tips and helpful suggestions on suitable music choices. They were also more than happy to cater for some of our very unusual requests and even asked the musicians to learn some new tunes! Loads of our friends commented on how great the music was on the day, and a few have already hired Bloomsbury for their wedding too. We couldn't recommend them higher!

Bloomsburry Music function band and their sound engineers did an absolutely brilliant job at our wedding. Matt made it really easy and straightforward to book, we thought the price was really reasonable, they had a great selection of tunes to choose from, and were happy to do a good number of requests too. They looked and sounded amazing and immediately got everyone to fill the dance floor, which is just what we hoped for! Such talented professionals. Quite a few friends have asked for their details for their upcoming weddings, and we had so much positive feedback from a variety of other guests about how amazing the band were. We used Bloomsbury Event Group after a recommendation from a friend as we wanted music to be a big part of our day. Bloomsbury gave us the flexibility to create a personalised package for our day. This included a classical trumpet player and string quartet for our ceremony, followed by a jazz band for the drinks and their Function Band and DJ for the evening entertainment. They even facilitated my wish for a surprise song performance for my husband; by providing background music as my friends sang our song during the drinks reception.

Their service was excellent and I didn’t have to wait long for responses to my queries. This gave us peace of mind during a busy build up. They really went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly from beginning to end. I’d highly recommend working with Matt and Rory to plan your big day - they’re fab!

Matt and the team were super friendly and helped us understand the options and logistics for a band at our marquee wedding. They are highly organised and really responsive. Unfortunately we didn't get to have the event in the end in light of covid, but the team at Bloomsbury did everything they could to accommodate us.
