Booked a lodge to stay over bank holiday weekend - the night before we were due to arrive the host cancelled it and communication was terrible. She mentioned another option potentially being available but ignored messages for hours before finally coming back with an unsuitable option (and no pictures of it to show us). We’d booked a nearby wine tasting picnic which was non-refundable so asked for compensation - Claudia said they would use the voucher so we sent the details and then they have gone completely quiet / ignored all messages once they’d benefited from our booking (which cost £100). I am absolutely horrified and flabbergasted as the appalling service and communication around this whole thing. I would discourage anyone from engaging with this business - they clearly have no morals (and having spoken to a friend she’s also had bad experiences with them), are highly disorganised, and lack any empathy or customer service whatsoever. Fortunately we were able to find another option to still go away over the weekend but as it was bank holiday and zero notice we had to search for ages, pay more, and endure a lot of stress.

Three friends visited Bloomsburys for a drink today.

A fabulous place brimming with character and charm. We chose to go here for a drink instead of a local pub, and we’re glad we did. Relaxed place, lovely service and we’ll definitely be returning for food next time.

Great Herbery attached, I could have perused all day.

My partner and I came across this gem purely by chance. We stopped for a break in travelling, but were tempted to have breakfast. It was truly lovely, very well cooked, very tasty, well served, everything was perfect. In such relaxing surroundings. Staff were attentive, and couldn't have done more for us.
It was a very hot day, but the shady trees were a blessing.
I highly recommend this place, it was a real find, we certainly will be back.

Stayed in the new Carriage and it was delightful. Great food, lovely staff and even some live music. My one year old daughter loved crawling through the sumptious grounds in glorious sunshine. Even met the on site cat dog and ducks and we felt really looked after. Would visit again absolutely.

Only happened on this venue by accident one lunchtime, what a lucky find! To the casual passerby it looks like an upmarket garden centre... but it's an unmissable, eccentric experience. A large airy cafe stuffed with extraordinary furniture and quirky lighting, this place is an absolute one-off. The garden looked beautiful too, but being was a stormy, rainy day it was viewed from the cosy indoors. The atmosphere is incredible, calm and welcoming with two super-chilled friendly cats and and a sweet elderly dog, all accompanied by mellow jazz and the the soothing percussion of the rain on the roof. The food was great, which led to buying cakes to takeaway - they were exquisite.
What a great place with lovely friendly staff.
