I called into Boston Spa garage to get some advice about work done previously (but not very well!) by another local workshop on my MX-5. Adrian spent a good 20-30 mins checking the previous repair work and gave me some very good advice. He then refused the £20 I offered to cover his time. He could not have been more friendly & helpful

A week ago today on Saturday 1st June 2024 I was driving on the A1 to attend a Golden Wedding Lunch in North Stainley when a warning light came on in the car. I didn't know what the problem was and, at the first opportunity, pulled off the motorway. Looking for a road to pull into to check the warning light in my manual, I came across Boston Spa Garage. I couldn't believe my luck. Although they were due to close and were busy, they checked and it was the tyre pressure warning light which was sorted out for me in minutes and we were on our way again to our friends' Golden Wedding. There was no charge and I was so relieved that the car was safe to drive. Thank you Boston Spa Garage for this excellent service. I wish we lived nearer so we could use you for our normal servicing work.

What a gem this garage is! The engine undertray of my Peugeot was partly pulled off going through floods during storm Babbette, with four passengers and more than 200 miles to go. Every other garage we tried was too busy or not interested, but at Boston Spa Garage, we were welcomed with the words, "It'll be 15 minutes, is that OK for you? And can I get you a drink?" The repair was excellent and the cost a mere token. This was service well above and beyond what might be expected from a garage that knew neither us, nor our car. I wholeheartedly recommend this business and its wonderful staff.

I had a great experience with this garage. My car broke down and got toed to them. It wasn't worth fixing, so they called round to find me someone to buy it for scrap, did the papers for me and posted the cheque from the scrapper to my house, and all with courtesy and a smile.
