If you’re looking to complete a decent 2-3 hour walk within the Cotswolds area then look no further. A great climb to the top will display some incredible views. Just look at some of the attached photos. Perfect for biking on the same walking routes. There are no facilities on route, so be sure to take a backpack full of goodies and plenty of water. There’s a small local pub at the very bottom of the hill, so a great place to visit post climb.

Overall - the start can be challenging to some as it is quite steep. But it’s worth it once you’re at the top. A great Sunday activity.

Visited the hill today (Oct 18th 2024) and saw numerous Red Kites and buzzards on the way up and down from the summit. Well worth the trip.

A beautiful, very wide, green hill with great views of the Cotswolds and the Malverns. There aren't many toilets around. You can park at the main car park or in Elmley Castle.

Stunning place for a run / walk. We did a 7 mile run and didn’t see a single person. Not even one dog walker. Amazing views over towards the Cotswolds, Malverns and Gloucester. You’d hardly believe you’re just off the motorway
