Liked: What a lovely camp site!

We only had time to stay for a single night due to a hectic timetable of summer events for us but fully intend to return in the near future. The site is a smaller one compared to many of the vast places we've stayed before but this adds to the charm and honestly means you're not tripping over too many people or fighting for the facilities.

I was surprised at how large the pitches were as I was worried my big tent (8 man) wouldn't fit but there were others that were bigger around the place.

Everything was spotless and that's not just the great loo block and showers. I didn't see a single bit of rubbish other than in the bin and there's encouragement to recycle .... Everything including food, used cooking fat, books and any bits and bobs you no longer need.

An honesty box was great to see and goes with the site's ethos. We were lucky enough to grab some of the last homemade blackberry cake that used some of the blackberries picked on the site.

The team were brilliant and accommodated my changing plans and we're happy to direct me to places that I needed on the basis I forgot half the stuff I needed!

The views of the local countryside were stunning. As was the crazily dark sky at night, which I bored friends and family with loads of photos of.

The site itself was quiet and fellow visitors kept the noise levels down and there wasn't a lot of driving in and out at silly times as I've experienced before.

Liked: - Pitch was a good size
- Very convenient location, couple of minutes from Evesham and the Country Park
- The quietest campsite at night!
- Beautiful sunsets in naturally beautiful surroundings
- Good, clean facilities, including a family washroom which was really helpful for us
- Hot croissants available to order for the morning!
- Lovely owners
- Nice little touches - a herb garden, little shop in reception, games and toys to borrow, lots of naturally kept areas meaning loads of wildlife

Disliked: - Not really a dislike - but take a long extension for the hookup, our 10m one wasn’t quite long enough as the hook up point was on the next pitch. We made it work but had we used a 15/20m one it would have made life a little easier!

Liked: Our first stay at a caravan and camping site in our first caravan.
Could not have been a nicer place to be baptised into the world of caravaning, run by a lovely and helpful lady called Jacqui and her family.
We had a EHU on hard standing and because they knew we were novices, they put us on a pitch that we could reverse into easier and we were near to the water etc.
The site is in a lovely spot and not too far from Evesham, Broadway etc. The facilities were really good, really clean toilets and lovely hot showers with a good size private dressing area. The site has an onsite laundry, freezers and recycling area next to the reception/shop.
It was very peaceful and felt like home for the couple of nights we stayed there. Our dogs approved too.

From the time you reach the entrance you are welcomed not only by Jacqui but also the sign ‘enjoy the views’, take them in. This is our second stay and we are heading home today.
The site is immaculate, toilets are spotless. A lovely quiet site where you can relax and refresh. A fenced off area is available for your dogs to be taken. In the nearby village of Norton you will find a very well kept park to take the kids and lots of places to visit. We look forward to our return visits for next year. Get booking, and enjoy!

Liked: Site is very well maintained and quiet. Showers and toilets were excellent and large ( each shower cubicle had a changing area as well as the shower itself ).
Site has microwave (free to use) and washers and driers (£1-£2 )at time of stay.

Non of those are dislikes- just some clarifications.

1: Wi-Fi is not good ( as the site itself says so)

2: shop is not a shop in sense of somewhere with a till etc . Does not sell milk etc ,
Just a few items on a shelf.

Site appears to be cash only for shop/laundry etc etc

Liked: Nice small but very tidy site. Facilities exceptionally clean throughout our 5 night stay. A handy site for a 1 night journey break or (as we did) a longer stay to explore the area. Fairly well stocked shop on site. Bus stop a short walk away for trips to Evesham, Stratford upon Avon and villages in between (max single fare £2 at time of writing). A dark site at night so no external lights. Plenty of walks locally, reception can help with where to go. The site has wifi but it’s a bit spotty (not THE most important matter but some might need it for work). This is a very eco-aware site so plant based washing liquids are needed (washing up liquid as well as washing liquid and fabric conditioner are provided free). Just under a 2 hour drive for us so expect we’ll be back before over long.

Disliked: Nothing to do with the site but the Valley retail park nearby is not easy to get to on foot and really only worth visiting for branded clothing stores, although there’s a country park and a narrow gauge railway. There’s also attractions for youngsters (including a splashpad - not a patch on the one in Evesham mind) so maybe I’m doing it a disservice. In my defence it was raining quite hard when we visited so an open air retail park didn’t really fit the bill.

Liked: Everything! Clean facilities, well kept site with separate dog walking area and really helpful friendly owners. Pitches were spacious and tidy. There were plenty of walks off site with a fabulous local pub nearby, and the beautiful Cotswolds villages of Moreton, Stow and Bourton only a short drive away.
The site had a small shop offering the basics and you could order fresh croissants every morning if you wanted, also homemade jam, honey etc available.
The owners had made a lot of effort to be wildlife friendly which was lovely to see with pathways around the site being created through wildlife grass areas. A truly peaceful environment to relax in.

Disliked: Our only negative feedback was the shower kept switching off every minute which was a bit annoying but the water was lovely and hot and the facilities were immaculate. It certainly wouldn’t put us off returning to the site.

Liked: Everything! A beautiful site, well laid out, pristine pitches, and quite possibly the best facilities I’ve ever used.
My friend required the disabled facilities and for the first time ever found her needs fully catered for. The tracks were suitable for a mobility scooter and the disabled toilet and shower had the correct rails and perches.
The personalised welcome and debrief from Jacqui on arrival was a nice touch. All information provided and an info sheet listing the answers to all other possible questions too. The toilets and showers were warm, modern and very clean at all times of day.
It was nice to have a pitch that didn’t have any holes or ditches throughout it like many other sites I’ve been to recently. The natural pitch borders were perfect and complimented the site nicely.
Will deffo return again and possibly try out some of the glamping pods for a different experience.

Disliked: I only have a tiny tiny grumble but it’s not major and was easily solved. I found the temperature at the washing up station a little tepid for greasy pans. But I solved this easily by taking a kettle of boiling water up with me. It was a fine temperature for all other dishes etc. The site provided washing up liquid and sponges which balances out my picky grumble.
