Liked: We had a fantastic time on our camping holiday! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and you really feel like you’re surrounded by nature. The atmosphere is rustic, but the location is superb, and the amenities like the bar, showers, and pools were wonderful.

One of the highlights was the amazing DJ on our first night. We danced the night away and had so much fun! The next night, we were able to enjoy a quieter, more romantic evening, as our spot was far enough from the barn to enjoy some peaceful alone time.

The staff were very relaxed and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had the best time and can’t wait to come back!

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The landscape is beautiful. This could be a really great campsite, if it weren't for pretty much everything else. To be clear, we didn't visit the restaurant, so my review doesn't include that.

Disliked: The facilities are very basic, which would be ok if the price were substantially lower, but this is an expensive site. You have to walk through a swamp to reach the showers in sheds. The portaloos are festival standard, no water, claustrophobic and unclean. There is nowhere to have a sink wash to avoid the shower swamp and there is no hot water to wash dishes.

The site is described as 'lively' but this hugely underplays the fact that this is a nightclub! I have been at lively sites and this is far beyond that. There is a DJ playing until 2pm, as this happens in an open sided barn, the noise is extremely loud and you cannot escape it anywhere on the site. There is a sign which suggests that the campsite is quiet after midnight. This is not adhered to at all (and the fact you can still hear the DJ sets a precedent that they don't care if you sleep), so other selfish campers played music until 5am. Do not expect to get any sleep, our weekend away was really spoilt.

Liked: Great location, beautiful Orchard setting.
Very friendly. Peaceful during the daytime.

Disliked: We knew there was music in the evening at the Parlour restaurant which is just across the lane from the campsite. The pool and bar was new since our visit last year. Pizza very good.
This attracts the young people which is good and in the evening the music is the attraction. However, it went on far too long, 2am and beyond and that boom boom base rhythm penetrating very loudly well into the night.
Bring ear plugs!
Also the drinks at the bar were very expensive. With all the money they are maki g, I think they should invest in their campsite and provide better facilities which were very poor.

Liked: Wicked little campsite with pool/bar, djs, and great staff.

Orchard pitch was flat and everyone seemed friendly and respectful.

Portaloos cleaned regularly.

Beautiful location

Lovely walks locally, 40 mins walk to the beach.

Over 18s.

Disliked: You gotta love your music ... Both Friday and sat night were wickedly lively and the music carried on till 4am.

This didn't bother us at all - I love it ... But do be mindful if booking and you're expecting it to be quiet ... It won't be at the weekends ... Although I have been told it's quiet during the week.

I didn't see it as a negative ... Finding such a lovely friendly music venue with camping was brilliant!!

Thank you to all.

Liked: What a find! The onsite trattoria served authentic and delicious Italian delights, and the late night bar with DJ and dance floor was an awesome bonus. The field was flat and massive, allowing for privacy and space, with plenty of compost toilets, and big communal bins allowing you to keep the site tidy with ease. We parked up by the river, and honestly had a magical stay. It was only 1 night, but we’re already keen to go back! A playground for grown ups, with great bar, restaurant and DJ for late night partying!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: the site was beutiful, a really peaceful place with a lot of choices, from close to amenaties to further away if you like your camping a bit wilder. If you get a chance to pitch by the river it makes the most fantastic setting to sit with a morning coffee, or spend the day reading. The parlour cafe was incredible and the pool bar was great too. the compost toilets were well maintained and effective, as was the onsite shower, and the toilets & shower across the road at the farm were very clean and a bit more private if you prefer a more indoors vibe.

Disliked: If you stay at the weekends in the summer, expect some noise from the events at the farm. not a problem at all just worth being aware of!

Liked: The orchid had a lovely atmosphere, even when it got busy there was lots of space! The River flowing between the two campsites was beautiful, there were loads of animals to go see. Having the pool bar with live music allowed us to have a more lively night but still retreat back to a warm campfire. The italian restaurant on site was beautiful, the food was amazing, a lovely little treat when camping. The farm shop down the road was aswell full of goodies!

Disliked: the washing up space was minimal.

Liked: Absolutely loved it, the campsite was gorgeous and it was lovely to be so close to the cows in the Orchard! We were a group of 11 (mixed male + female) and we had a great time. It had everything we needed, and the pool, bar, and restaurant was a lovely added bonus! We definitely want to come back.
