Amazinggg!
You have to visit burrow hill cider farm even for the service alone. Really chatty and friendly atmosphere and were talked through each and every drink we were remotely interested in. They weren’t shy with samples either! We didn’t book on a tour but found the place merely by chance and we’re encouraged to walk through the farmyard where it really tells it’s own story. We bought plenty of cider (Ice cider was fab) and they sell lovely fruit liquor too.
Do not miss this place off your list!

Burrow Hill cider shop is lovely, rustic and full of character. The owner was polite and we also got to taste a few of the ciders definitely recommend buying from here. If you get time, 50 yards down the road there is the Burrow hill view of Somerset. Breathtaking view!

The history and the future of cider production are on display here. You can also spend some time in the shade of the trees watching the apples grow in their wonderful orchards.

Excellent place for a cider based beverage. They have a bar in a secluded courtyard next to the orchard and a shop which sells all of their produce - aperitifs, ciders, apple brandy etc. We had a tour, taken by the owner. He was a good host and happy to answer all our questions. Shame that non of the actual cider making process was shown/talked about, most of it was related to the distilling and creation of the higher abv drinks rathe the bread and butter of cider making which we wanted to see.

This place is amazing, I'm like a kid in the kid shop. The lady who work there was so nice as well. A cool place. You should come here if you are in Somerset and you like cider

This is the real deal. A pile of some 8 to 9 feet high was being fed into the press on a conveyor. Crushed apple pulp was emerging from the other end. The air was thick with the wheel of apple juice

The shop is rammed with cheese, chutneys, ciders, cider brandy, Perry, and an arsenal of other variations. Even a 68 percent apple alcohol hand sanitiser!

Magical place!

First time here and it was a lovely, fun place to visit, especially on a sunny warm day. Parking was nearby in a field (about 2 mins walk from the venue) you can park and walk up the (quite steep!) hill as there is a lonely tree at the top with amazing views of the whole area. The venue itself has a food stall that was quick to queue through and they were all very friendly as they served you. The food varies, I had a sausage roll/platt with salad and my wife had a chicken and chorizo pie and salad. We both had a burrow hill draught cider. The drinks stall was in front of the Somerset cider bus, you can't miss it. Then there is a shop for homewares and a shop for more cider! There's seating by the bus then an undercover canopy with lots of benches, sometimes you have to share! Next to that is more seating into the orchard. It's a very quirky place but worth a visit in my opinion, especially in a group, they also have live bands sometimes and it's dog friendly!

Visiting the UK from Tasmania and the visit to Burrow Hill was by far the best day that I have spent during a 4 week trip. Thanks to Matilda, Julian, Nick and the team for the warm and generous welcome. It was a dream come true to walk through the orchard of standards, to taste the cider and cider brandy. I highly recommend a visit to Burrow Hill and will return as soon as possible.
