Handed a very jammed front derailleur to John at Buxted Bikes who sorted it out and more. Carefully took me through the details of the re-indexing and also fitted new inner and outer cables. New brake pads and adjustment meant he handed me back a working bike fit for many miles.
I will certainly use Buxted Bikes again for repairs and regular servicing at reasonable prices.

Faultless service by John who, despite being extremely busy, managed to fit in the repair to my bike so that I’m up and running for a Fathers’ day ride. Lovely guy, helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about cycling. No hesitation recommending him.

Despite being super busy John made time to help me out with a (pothole) damaged wheel. He returned my call really quickly and suggested I dropped by to have a look - he sorted it there and then so I'm back on the road immediately. Would thoroughly recommend.

Just visited John for the first time today. He helped me fix the hydraulic brakes my new bike has (which was supplied via mail order without enough fluid in the system). Very knowledgeable, and I loved being able to sit with him and watch. Will certainly use again when the need arises - would highly recommend.

I took a couple of my bikes to John for general servicing. John was very specific in his questioning and did a reasonably detailed initial inspection. The bike services were turned around quickly and delivered back to home. All works were explained clearly. We discussed a couple of options that could be done at a future time. I was very comfortable that only necessary works were done. All work was completed to a high standard with a good summary description of the state of the bikes. I am extremely pleased with the quality of service and value for money. I recommend John and The Buxted Bike Workshop without hesitation.
