I came to this pharmacy mid asthma attack requesting an emergency inhaler. Before coming here I checked online if pharmacies can dispense emergency inhalers without a prescription - yes, they can. Here, I was refused an inhaler. The pharmacist could see I was struggling to breathe and still refused, despite me having my empty inhaler in my hand. I was turned away and told to ring my own Doctors Surgery to have my prescription sent to them electronically and come back in a few hours. I was visibly upset, crying, which made my breathing so much worse. I ended up in A&E Urgent Care less than 2 hours later on oxygen. Once my breathing was back to normal (thanks to Lewes Victoria Hospital) I went back here to pick up my inhaler and told the pharmacist that I had ended up in A&E because of their negligence. I was not given an apology and the pharmacist did not seem to care at all. My doctor at the hospital said I could have died. I will never be coming back to this pharmacy, nor will I recommend them to anyone I know.

I have never met such lovely, caring staff. Those who complain do need a reality check and try pharmacies out of the area. The service, the going beyond the norm , wow. Thank you all to those at Buxted that make this place a gem. Merry Christmas MR H
